Trouble in seedling town...Help

although i write on the cup/pot the germinated seed goes into WHAT date it went in there. i start the aging from actual “birth date” (popped up through soil  ) others may do differently

Okay, that’s how I did it as well. I just figured start counting day one on the day they popped through. Their “birth” from soil day :joy::rofl:When do you know when they are in veg and not in germination anymore. I know I’m way past germination…thank goodness!! That was stressful :grimacing::sweat_smile:! I’m just trying to accurately have the weeks on my calendar the closest I can. For example I have this week being week 5 in veg. ( I counted the whole first week as germination period. )
Thank you again so much!!!

Hi all,
Call me sentimental :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:, but I like sharing progress with the first group that has made this grow a success.

We are on day 93 ( give or take a day )

Thanks again for all of the guidance and support :white_heart:

I think…a few things…not sure I would be using that soil…I would stick to what everyone else is using…Fox Farms or lucky frog…To germinate just toss the seeds in a ziplock bag and let it soak for 24 hours…the only thing I look for…is it floating? If it’s floating. I plant super shallow barely covered in the jiffy pod and use a solo cup. Then after two or three weeks plant it in a Big planter with the good soil. Your lights are too high…you want the lights right right right on top of the plant. The seedlings need warmth but nothing crazy. I would stop using the heater and just plant shallow and let the lights warm the soil and cup. Also you don’t want to over water here…use a spray bottle and mist as needed.

Thank you!!

This couldn’t come at a more perfect timing. I just dropped 2 WW autos and I’m having some anxiety related to how hard it was for my first time to grow the 3 I have going now. For my soil medium now, I use FFOF and FFHF. I love Natures Living Soil and use this as well.

I need to go back to my calendar , I think this is starting week 2 of veg. My one and lonely auto. The other 2 seeds that I dropped in water to germinate have taproots and I will be planting them in soil today :grimacing:. This is the part where I kill them :sob:. I mixed ffhf yesterday with a little perlite to help keep the soil fluffy added distilled water until Moist and am letting most evaporate before planting. I think I was suffocating them before.
Wish me luck :crossed_fingers:t2: :white_heart:
