Happy Growing…
Not the brutal weather Ya’ll getting (be safe and aware) but we went from 72 and sunshine yesterday to this today, wife went to the farm and said “roads are horrid and empty”
Pouring rain this am, and now 5" of snow on the ground, yeah Spring, fu**!!!
Thanks growers! These spring cyclones bring hail, strong winds, and tornadoes in my latitude, but up there ya’ll get double whammies.
Thanks @DoneDeal @ScottsBuds and @Bentstick . Seeing crazy growth right now. Gave them a full dose of Jack’s this morning with a top dressing of highway dust. I’m pushing the top limits of PPMs with 1900 going in and 3300 at runoff. Let’s see what they will do with it. DLI is set at around 45 for both.
I’m seeking advice. My goal is to maximize yield for these two plants without having a significant space issue in the tent. These plants will be 6 weeks from sprout this Thursday and I have done a little LST with one of them. Should I do some training now? I can prune some of the smaller leaves and stems at the bottom. Once I flip the lights to 12/12, I’m expecting them to stretch 2-3 times their size now. Should I just flip this Thursday and see what happens? They are growing well and filling out to the edge of the pots even in the last three days. Whatcha think?
@Growdoc @DoneDeal @MidwestGuy @merlin44 @Budbrother @dbrn32 @Caligurl
Your plans sounds good. LST is great to control height as well as produce many tops. I also semi-super crop a couple of weeks after flipping. I call it semi because I don’t bend them over, I just mash the stems to cause slight damage that the plant tries to repair.
Looking good.
I agree with @merlin44 and you never know until you flip em to see what’s gonna happen.
