Will

All good Will I just did the shout out on the off chance you were around buddy I don’t expect people are online all the time we do have real lives too

Hmmmm, do you have a life? The photos you posted yesterday say differently, Donaldj.

Just kidding…or am I?

You are still my hero

lol I hardly sleep am usually up before 5 am also very OCD and work seasonal winter being my off time so lots of free time. As well when things are going smoothly with your grows they become less labor intensive almost a meditative daily process check this water that feed etc. You don’t want to rush things so no use worrying ready when it’s ready, the more you learn the faster you identify issues and address them before they get worse until it’s almost a thoughtless drill

Whoa! This is alot. Let me see here… ok… uhhhhh…
**Start at .25-.5 strength
**Use a feed, water, water and watch closely
**increase by .25 strength weekly until 1ml:1 strength
Question:
I water every 4th day. Do I continue that, or is this now feed, water, water, daily.

Thats what I thought but there is no pdf attachment. Is it just the chart shared above? Or does it go into more detail.

I just got my nutrients, so I went to check the link…my bad, it only shows germination, nothing at all in the e-mail about use of the notes.

Just a general question…Is the chart the only reference material supplied with the ILGM nutrients?

I’ve got to look at it now, myself.
Grow booster until week 2 of flowering
Bud booster the next 4 weeks
THC booster to finish

lol feed water water is the reason I always advise small containers to start grow as long as it’s an option.
Yes you are right you would water/feed just like you currently do as your plant gets larger it will drink more thus go through far more water making watering’s closer together.

Cool deal. I have just fed grow booster for the first time. I mixed .25ml of grow booster into 1 liter of water and watered just as I have been. I carefully water until I get steady drips of water coming from the bottom of my containers. It takes roughly 1/3 of the liter of water. Any suggestions?

you have it handled watch and wait let her tell you what you need to do next

Thanks again for all of your input. I certainly do appreciate it.

I tell every beginner to always start with 1/4 strength each feeding but stay on your water schedule and increase it each feeding.
I also tell them when switching to flower do the same 1/4 flower 3/4 grow next feeding 1/2 flower and 1/2 grow and so on . And when you add something in your mix add it slow.

I’m a little more aggressive by the time I’m in flower since I flush right before I want them on that new bloom diet and now :stuck_out_tongue: but I do so to reduce stretch, however each strain is different so Will has the safer approach here.

For me it gives me time to see how each plant react’s to it’s new nutrient. Like you said Donald each strain is different as is each plant.

Hey Will. Just for clarification. Are you saying since Im at 1/4 strength, I should feed with the booster every time I feed? Or as mentioned earlier, feed, water, water, and gradually increase the mix.

You got it and watch each plant as you increase.
Like i said each plant is different and one or two even of the same strain may not tolerate as much. Then you’ll have time to adjust your feeding for thoughs plants without damaging then.

He was talking transition to bloom feeding but if you wish to gamble you can feed light every water it typically leads to more build up in your soil but at the end of the feed water water cycle you can up dose at same rate. Some water feed water feed

I know what he was referring to, I don’t understand how you would get more build up with less. Seems to me quite the opposite would happen. Seems to me knowing what my plants can tolerate when switching from grow to bloom or booster or adding anything else to the mix first would be far better off than slamming them with full strength right off thebat wouldn’t you think…

I agree Will more is less is always best route just find many people take the feed every water to the extreme and by adding just a water cycle into the mix the plant uses the food and seeks out more during the lean water cycle increasing root mass and utilizing more of the soil. In essence feeding every water lightly does same thing which is where hydro has it’s edge

Yup thats exactly correct. Donald.
