Getting her ready to move outside. Take a few day to strengthen her up. Pretty windy here. Once I get her moved outside, I’ll get a couple clones.

Ive brought the Beast back inside, where I can take better care of her.
Im going to get some clones going soon. My mom taught me how to grow plants. She called “cloning,” cutting slips. I have started African Violets from leaf cuttings, and etc.
So, any tips on cutting some cannabis slips?
Ive got a six-pack of punks started that will go outside, on the side of the big girl.

Ive got some of my Colombian xFreight Train germinated and in soil. So, quite a few weeks before ill get any males from them. I just thru a few in a paper towel, didn’t sort thru them and got about 50% germination, not to bad.
Since the male plants won’t be ready for a while, and Im not going to clip her, and Im growing her inside, i needed more height. So, I took a subfloor out of my closet and put her back in the closet.
I’ll have plenty of height now.

The Beast, five weeks.
Ive never seen a cannabis, or a hemp plant this robust. Ive grown both. Ive decided not to clone the Beast. I really don’t have the growing facilities to keep them going. Ill just get seed. When I grow Beast seed, I’ll know to what look for and I can cull every thing else (males and non-phenotypes), the seed is free and I’ll get hundreds chances. Just need one.
Ive got six Northern Lights (3 auto and 3 photo), I’m getting ready to repot. And my Colombian xFreight Train are coming along. Not worried about puttung any size on these as Im just looking for a male to pollinate the Beast. Surely out of 8 plants I’ll get a male. Just need one spindly male to spread a small amount..

The Beast at 48 days. I’ve had her on 12/12 lights for just shy of a week and she is starting to bloom.
I had not planned on cutting any clones, but there is one lower node that’s trying to poke out the lower door, so I might give it a go. We’ll see.

I had not plan on doing any clones, but she is starting to stretch a little, and the bottom nodes are getting shaded. They need trimmed. So, I’m uber frugal and don’t want to spend any money on it, so I will do some in water, and some in soil. Hope for the best. Ive started all kinds of plants from cuttings in water. We’ll see.

I had not done any clipping on the Beast until today. I have did a small amount of de-foliating some lower fan leaves. I trimmed off the bottom two nodes. I have them soaking in water. We’ll see.

I don’t think I will get any seeds. I might if I can get a male plant blooming. But, even then, they will be regular seeds, half will be male. And then with all the hybridization, its doubtful you will get many replica of the Beast.
So, long bloom the Beast…well…until harvest time.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the Beast is not an abnormality. I have six more Beasts.

This morning, July 1. Four days growth.
I think it is the potting soil. Before the Beast, I used a mixture of Miracle-Gro potting soil, cow manure and local sandy soil. The Beast is straight Miracle-Gro potting soil. I did the,same with the six I’ve got coming on. It’s got fertilizer mixed in.
