I’d die with 20… five has been hard enough to keep up with and worse once they grow up! i should have culled the norther lights though. that was a weakling from the start.
I figure, hell I’m working on 5, why not another 15!
LOL. easy when they’re seedlings. i said that about squash this year and was like “OH S!!T” when just one started climbing over my 8ft fence. I had a dozen.
I am plotting my next grow watering/feeding setup though because i am not enjoying mixing this much and the potential for a giant mess/accident is too great. and of course i’ll never be able to leave town. i will say i’ve dropped a few pounds though from the stirring and multiple runs outside and up/down stairs. kinda sad this is also considered exercise for me ![]()
.
Im growing in Supersoil. I put a chlorine filter on my garden hose and just water. Our PH here is around 8.3, soil has no problem handling it.
cool. i was thinking Kind would do well outside for just the reason you mentioned. it would also eliminate multiple trips in and out of the house. and i could just hook up some auto watering if i ever wanted to leave town. i will only run autos outside so it would be nice to use the synthetic nutes on them as i’m pretty convinced that’s key for autos… but once this current run is over i’ll tally up all the extra work and $ and see if it was worth it. freedom may be worth more than a few ounces.
I wouldnt run kind soil outdoors. May rinse out all the wonderful plant goodies!
oh good thought. i guess i can’t always be here to run them under cover. (sadly) so far i have been and they haven’t gotten a drop on them. is this not an issue with home made super soil? I guess eventually you have to start feeding with some nutes.
That would only be an issue if the posts were getting heavy rain, IMO. I water with supercoil to run off, only because its hard to get a through watering in fabric pots.
i think the heavy rain is the issue. and it’s legit. i bet everyone is in the same boat this year but we already set records for most rain ever which surpassed the previous record which was last year… still dealing with the aftermath of flooding from three weeks ago.
I made a semi super soil outta ffof bone n blood meal castings and a few other amendments. And STILL fed with fish emuls. But i also water to heavy runoffs. Like to get my soil soakd
Looks like they going strong! Leaves a bit hungry but ur close enough to the end not to worry! Well done
O wow. Id go in there with the shears. Anything a foot to a foot n a half from the ground could get removed. Humidity in there is gonna skyrocket in a couple weeks
I Did that Yesterday! Well, I trimmed some fans. But you think I should Lollipop them? The greenhouse is 6x10x8.5H…7 plants in ground.
Depends. Hows the air circulation in there? A bit of cleaning up would help. Not sure lollipopping is really needed outside. But itd give me a piece of mind
that’s a lovely looking jungle in there!
Water her first to take out any trapped air in the soil. The soil will be nice and compact for her removal.
thanks! actually got her transplanted yesterday. it was super dry, like a rock, and i cut the bottom of the pot out, placed it all in the new pot, filled in the coco around and then cut the sides. it worked really well. at least i hope she’s happy… time will tell right? they all seem to have issues all of a sudden so fingers crossed.
Hey everyone thank you very much for your input I am exactly 2 months into my blueberry Auto yesterday and I and seeing signs of yellowing leaves at the bottom. Looks like a deficiency of some sort. Maybe magnesium sulfur or iron. My pH level has been running at approximately 7.5 and humidity 50%. I am using Fox Farm soil and nutes. I will attach some pictures when I get home of it right now and a picture of the flowers and the areas that look like deficiencies any help from anybody would be very helpful as this is one monster Auto and I would really hate to lose it. Not sure what to do. The pot is too small I did not expect it to grow this large. I did top it at week 2 because it was already 5 nodes up. I can’t tell if you have nutrient lockout because of the small container or if it’s a deficiency. Please help
