Try a PAX vaporizer! No plastic taste and are guaranteed for 10 years! Four heat settings, etc.
I make mine with 1g concentrate (i.e. wax shatter or whatever is cost effective) and a few drops of terpenes.
Use a shot glass and heat them together, draw into syringe and insert into the cartridge.
Did fairly well on these until the past month where everyone is getting sick from black market carts
