Thrips again! Argh!

OK at this point I dont know how it happened.

Its winter here in western co.

Woke up to check on my plants and saw something I am used to seeing but in summer.

Checked the plants and I found one little white bugger on one of my tall plants and checking my shadow man customs I found another.

Everybody is currently been cleaned with neem oil and sitting in my bathroom air drying. Im about to sanitize my whole tent. My next question is how could this have happened?

Could have come on/in the soil? Seems their pupal stage is in soil before they move to plants.

I was wondering that. The soil was fox farm happy frog.

Im deep cleaning the whole tent and when the plants are dry I am going to put diatomaceous earth in the containers.

I’ve been seeing people saying about problems with FFHF and FFOF soils. Ph, nats, mold, ECT not sure if something is going on with fox farm manufacturing.

I mixed my Groundswell with happy frog last grow and sure enough fungus gnats right away. Switched back to just Groundswell and no issues. The HF smelled really musty too when I opened it. Not sure what’s going on.

I also use MotherEarth Groundswell. I like it and it’s affordable.

Sure is, I just mixed mine up with perlite today to get ready for planting my seed in the next couple days.

I’ve been reusing mine. Doing my own NPK dredge lol. I got a very high organic NPK fertilizer that when I’m done my grow I do a triple shot to 1 gallon of water and sledgehammer 2 clean gallons threw it and let her sit for like 2 weeks.
