Thoughts on chopping Bruce Banner auto

Hi all - I’m sorry in advance for shabby pics. Steady is not my strong suit for this. If they’re not good enough, I’ll try again or cut something and use the base. That said, I think I’m inside the traditional 2-week window  , but wanted your thoughts. 92 days old.

can’t tell from trich pictures but the bud picture looks to be ready or just about and time is about right too …very nice buds you grew, I have Bruce Banner photo growing for the first time and about to flip tomorrow…
and who makes that USB microscope holder ???

Grrr… I can’t seem to steady the scope, focus it, and snap the pic at the same time. The base it came with adjusts vertically like a microscope but doesn’t articulate at all so a bud needs to be cut. That’s actually an IPhone selfie stick, which was a gag gift at some point to get a laugh b/c I don’t really do selfies…. I need to mount it though.

Thanks, I’ll look forward to seeing yours progress! I’m going back to photos in both tents once I chop. Same q re: Runtz auto coming soon

@SandyC i have a scope i use thats similar to yours. What i do is take a kitchen chair or something around the same hieght as a bent over cola. And ill place the scope on the chair, bend the cola down the viewing area, and strap the cola down with a gear tie or string or anything that will hold it in place. Then adjust my focus from there.

If thats not an option then simply cutting off a small section of calyx works too. It wont hurt the bud

Thanks @Ebb I’ll give something like that try and report back. Clearly the opposite approach by having a static cola and manipulating the scope isn’t working so well.

That’s a sweet looking Fat Betty :joy:. Try your phone and zoom. Would hate to see you chop too early or too late :love_you_gesture:

I can confirm though that my bruce banner autos never went amber at all on the buds themselves and mine went for 154 days seed to harvest. I finally stopped checking and just harvested when i notice they had stopped swelling for about a week.

Those are some fatties too. Nice work

They’ve got to be in the window based on the plant pic. No green leaves. Look’s ready to me.

Ok, second try. Thanks for helping along with the decision. Hopefully I’ll get it straight and you won’t suffer through the cruddy pics again…

unless you were getting some reflections you have a good bit of amber showing in my view

Yeah, that can happen, so now when my plants are in my accepted harvest window, I snip off some bud and give a test run to see if I want to give them more time.

I had the scope lighting up and by a window…%$@#^ - but it looks about the same away from that. Thank you and @Ebb @Dexterado @OGIncognito @Twelve1

Time for a test run. Bonus, look what I found when I broke out the trim bin. Damn near cant hit the dart board….
