@Highsenberg you need to “Break Bad” and just get a bubble-bucket for the bigger plant 
All a setup like that gave me was root rot

Yeah, it is starting to flower. How can I avoid root rot? I noticed some algae growing on the roots about a week ago, but I rinsed it all off and covered the unused holes in the reservoir, hoping that would eliminate it
keep light out and add H2O2 or peroxide to nutrient solution

How much should I add to a reservoir that holds approximately half a gallon of water?
15ml a liter everyday is my routine
