The indoor wonderland flowers

Hmmmm. I’m intrigued. What’s the best way to keep the resivouir cool??

The water usually is the same as the air temp if you keep it cool in the tent. I have intake air conditioning cooling the buckets. they get no higher than 85* .If you want to get fancy add a cooler or add ice.

What’s the ideal water temp? Sorry for all the questions.

Well the temp should be 70-80* I never had too much problem with heat. but u can cool them . Keep the air flow high. change the water often and let them grow!

Or Ebay they got everything!

Cool. My soil grow is going really well but I’m always looking it up my canna game.

I did soil for years, but I had more problems. I needed control over the grow medium. I mix up a batch of nutrients and that is it. Soil is harder to know what the plants are getting. So it was simple. I took a leap of faith and never went back. I will grow in soil as soon as my state of Florida goes legal!

I always seem to battle pH issues with soil

The other reasons for recirculating is you don’t need to change out water as often. And more stable ph and temp. But the bigger the system the more nutes it uses. Mine is around 80 gallons I’ll only be changing the reservoir at switch to flower nutes. And if a emergency arises. And the goal of hydro is a faster growing plant which should mean more bud at the end. I’m hoping with autos it’ll greatly increase their production.

how do i get all the good details on this? i need to know everything.

i too am battling ph and nutes issues. im thinking dwc or rdwc is the way to go

I’ve spent the past 3 months researching it. My design changed several times during that time period. @bryan and @Grandaddy013 are both running RDWC as with @boardsbird above . Bryan’s is bigger of the three. Mine is partially built off of what he has done with his setup.

I have done hydo quite a bit in the past and the plants are able to progress quicker esp with indoor lighting. There is one drawback and that is things can go south really really quickly if your not on top of the system.

I run a 6 gal res and its changed weekly which oddly comes out to about the same amount of water Doobie uses.
My autos get a different nute mix about every week, no sorry every week :cocktail:

I wish my returns were are big as yours. worried about roots clogging it and overflowing on the plant side

I also pushed the pipe past where the first plants roots will be. Hopefully between the size and location I’ll avoid any clogs.

We double in size as we get bigger and bigger.

also we are using a 450 watt LEDs and 600 watt hps. I add more the larger they get.

We are now using 5 gallon buckets over the 3.5 gal. I got to keep the roots happy. Plus they drink a lot, so I don’t have to add as much.

This is day 23 and the only thing I did was pinch the top. 24 hour light schedule, shows rapid growth!
