I got a 4×4 marsHydro Comeing In any good Light Recommendations, that are dimmable and Have Veg and Bloom Switches Any??? Any Suggestions will help!! Please And Thanks. ---

Veg & bloom switches usually means blurples. Nothing wrong with them as long as you know what you are buying and they have enough power to do the job. They usually are less efficient than other newer lights that use quantum boards. Ultimately it depends on how much you want to spend, are you open to DIY or some type of kit (some assembly required). HLG is the most popular light mentioned on this forum. Spider farmer and Mars Hydro are also popular. If you have $$ burning a whole in your pocket Chilled will do you good. Budget LED has some interesting offerings too. I believe they are a Michigan company. If you are looking on Amazon look for power consumption or power draw. Not the number in the product name. ---

You can get the HLG260W or the 260XL and they are both under $400, will do an incredible job on your grow, are just about perfect for your tent size and can be upgraded later. BTW, both are dimmable. I have a HLG 260W. Went from a CLW250 to this and man I’m a happy man. So are my plants. ---

4x4 tent. 2x hlg 260xls will be great for that space. Anything more and u are asking for temp issues. I have 3 260xls in a 4x7x8 room i built with a cheap enfun qb board 240w amd its plenty of light with just the 3 hlgs but why not a bit more if i can keep the temps under control right? If u can afford it id say gran a hlg 650r and the hlg 30 uva bar and ull have one bad azz setup. 6 inch ac infinity s6 with the controller 67 separate and ull be pounding out the buds. The 650 lr is a beast and will fit perfect in a 4x4 tent and look super purdy too ---

I agree with beardless, veg/bloom switches aren’t necessary. Two of the qb 260 xl kits would be great in 4x4. If you prefer single fixture that you don’t have to assemble, hlg-600 is very similar in a different package. Either of those options you know you are getting tried and true products with great support if an issue arises, not that you should expect any issues. But they have a history of taking care of customer issues. There are also some newer lights that look very good on paper for reasonable price, but most don’t have the republic hlg does either. ---

If you choose the HLG LED lights as Community Growers recommended you will not go wrong. ---

Check HLG QB kits. There is also the total DIY option if you are so inclined. If you want HLG, you can order the boards and heatsinks from it and pick up all the other parts on Amazon or where ever. If you are serious about this route I saved a couple build sheets put together by a member. I have not build one but the person that did them has build more than a few. Reply and I will provide what I have. ---
