Def a game changer lol… organics is a little slower but more forgiving. I only check on my plants maybe once, twice a day. Im a covert indoor grower, so i control and monitor everything from my phone as far as temps and humidity.
So im finishing out everything i have now with Coast of Maine nutrients… Just placed an order with @Roadsideorganics.ok that i will be running with my fall/winter projects… cant wait to try them out!
I am going to give that a try next. I also saw Down To Earth, but it looks like they are single nutrient to blend your own mix.
Either way, the plants are looking good on my end!
Wish I had that much time I see my plants once every 2 or 3 days for 15 to 20 minutes for feeding. Life is busy.
Havent used the tea but the nutes are great.
For black strap molasses, you just mix with water and water in? No PH or anything?
For work fasting tea, what do you do to make it? Just mix fast of maine worm casting with water?
Thanks!
If you dont have an air pump, you can soak a few cup of castings in a five gallon bucket, and stir it up every few hours for 24 hours and just water in. I dont ph anything. Thats the joy of organics. The soils buffers the ph. If youre going to do tea, then just add a few tablespoons of molasses to your tea. The microbes will feed on it. (Youll see bubbles or foam which means theyre active) if only using molasses, just a tablespoon or two in five gallons of water and just water in.
Is it easy to burn plants using dry amendments?
I am getting ready to switch to flower and am going to top dress with buds/blooms from CoM, but was also thinking of adding seabird guano, or bone meal from DTE. Maybe oyster shell as well.
Any advice - I am in week 7 pm and planning to switch to flower this weekend.
The plants are not dark green and the leaves are looking pale.
I fed them Stonington blend on 2/26 and 3/10. About a half dose.
I’ve given molasses a couple of times and I did a tea last week.
The pictures don’t look too bad, but they seem pale green/yellow vs dark green.
Thanks!
That girl is light on mag. Again this is showing up. WTF . The fade in between the veins is a dead giveaway in my opinion. Is your ph stable in uptake ranges? That can stop it. Just add some epsom. Horticulture not scented stuff. That is easiest start along with ph management. Takes a week or so. If it does not fix it you can dig deeper. Simple non invasive repairs first in my mind. I have been noticing a lot of this same issue lately.
Less is more with the sugar.
I know right my white truffles sprouted like that. Took about 4 or 5 weeks of epsom to help. You can still see some now even. Not worried just saying.
Tablespoon of epsom salts will fix ya right up. Ive had to supplement a few times
Thanks! I will grab some Epsom salt and water it in with the plant tonight. Should I do a tablespoon per gallon?
Should I wait to switch to flower, or will that not matter?
Also, should I just begin adding some Epsom salt with every few waterings?
As far as PH, I haven’t phd the water since I’ve not added liquid nutrients. I think my tap water comes out right at 7 and then I let it sit for a day or so before watering.
Id just top dress in 2 tablespoons and water in and call it good. Should be good till you finish your grow
Great! I found this in my closet:
Is this sufficient or should a buy a brand targeted for plants?
As long as thats unscented youll be fine. If its scented, dont use
I top dressed with Epsom salt on the 12th.
Regarding the ph of my water. It is around 6.8-7.
It will be a week on Wednesday, how will I know if the Epsom salt solved the problem?
I switched them to flower on Saturday as well.
I appreciate the help!
They will fill in a touch and new growth will not show deficiency. I personally dont like to flip till healthy but you are not in real distress. New pictures?
Agreed. Watch the new growth
