Hereâs a quick shot of one of the lowers, I literally just started trimming it up yesterday after a 14 day whole plant hang @ 60 RH
This is one of the worst buds on the plant, larfy lower bottom bud bottom branch⌠So I am really looking forward to getting to the main kolas (Am I the only one that saves them all until last LOL!)
Iâm here trimming away as we speak, quite literally!

Oh shoot just to clarify Iâm not sure if the time lines up with the time of my first post & question etc but I harvested on day like 64 I believe of flower? I had a few plants going that went in on different weeks but either way it DID work out and I am just trimming it literally tonight! Just smoked a cone in fact
Blurry pic but burn looks pretty good too, itâs not as dark as it looks in this pic! I expect it to turn whiter as these buds cure up more
I will also say the cross (Sweet Island Skunk x Barb Bud) seems very Sweet Island Skunk dominant which is fine by me since I absolutely adore the strain - itâs a lot of old school terps & a touch of burnt rubber terpenes. I wouldnât have known Barb Bud was even involved, thereâs zero fruitiness in whatever I grew out and Barb is supposed to be fruity⌠So either I screwed up, or itâs the pheno I grew, or I just honestly have no idea what the breeders version looked like so who knows
Very smooth smoking, no nasty tingling or sour tastes or anything which I am a very harsh critic of when I can detect it â super pleased, still canât believe I grew weed! - and itâs actually, dare I say, good?!
Nope, This was the smallest on the branch.
She was made smaller to occupy new space and make room for this lady
Good cure to your grow.
3 months in Grove Bags will change the taste and smokability, usually for better.
Just use RH sensors and keep an eye on the bags, (some leak or are in not good environments).

Dang man, very nice ! I waited until I had much more red pistils, and I see youâve got 50% white there still⌠maybe I left it too long? I need to seriously get better advice on when a plant is ready to harvest and not leave it going excessively long
How do you determine yours?
Can you also explain the aging in grove bags thing ? What the heck is that ? And what RH do you suggest? 55?

I start early and go for long. Little at a time.

I usually lose names (mental deficiency for NAMEs, not numbers).
I can only identify 4 plants in my yard. Started 11-1-2023.
The others are from Seed Orgy 2022 or 23 (2024 not dropped yet).

Holy smokes, can I ever relate. I had the genius idea to start a bunch of different strains and flower them all in the same tent and despite my best intentions I got baaaaadly jumbled up, and canât make any definitive call on what Iâve got cured up anymore. Absolutely hilarious, glad it wasnât just me LOL!

Definitely never heard of the grove bags I donât think but am absolutely familiar with mason jars & boveda or boost packets
Only thing Iâve never concluded is if they help, or hurt my weed. They sure seem to absorb a lot of terps!
