I gave it a little bit of root stimulant stuff I don’t know the exact name right now
I had 2 runts one was deformed retarded or whatever you wanna call it It almost always happens with seeds, I started using Jack’s last year I like the price and results good Nukes and 1 teaspoon per gallon went ahead and bought the 25 lbs bag I don’t think I’ll have to buy anymore lol
Nice I may have to try jacks a lot of people use it here
Like My Plant’s are Heading to the moon using it ![]()
Won’t be long before I’ll be transplanting these looking for roots coming from the bottom
Wow yea mine are definitely not growing at that rate lol I’m going to start feeding more I think probably going to feed in a few I used bushmaster rootdrench on the runt.
You have plenty of time once they get going they mature fast I nuke every 3 or 4 days and wait until the pot drys out it will change once I get everything in the ground so a good rain you can wait 3 or 4 days excessive heat like last year I was watering 3 times a day and my tops still burned I know i lost a pound or more from heat stress then the powerdy mildew and let not forget about hard to see little bastards called catapiliars
Yeah my plant’s look good right now but have alot to deal with down the road Hopefully this tri shield stops it
Yea honestly I don’t even want to big of plants just because of all the bullshit that comes with it lol if I can just get through the whole season I’ll be happy lol last year I harvested early because of powdery mildew and then when I bud washed I found like 2 baby caterpillars so I already know the bigger the plants the more bullshit I’ll be dealing with lol
O yea I just fed I’m pretty sure I over watered the run out is pretty excessive lol maybe I’m watering too much and that’s why they aren’t growing too fast now I know for next time less water lol
I had some so tall I tied them down I think it helps with the heat stress if anything it made things easier for me
I could only imagine how big these fuckers get straight in the ground lol I still believe I started my plants maybe too early it’s gonna get down to 48 tonight but I always pull them in the garage before I go to bed So I think they should be fine I dont know guess we will see
They will be fine I wouldn’t trust any temps in the 30s any type frost can kill them make sure they get plenty of sunlight and they will take off
Cool thanks for the help yea I just decided to leave them outside and not bring them in the garage or anything I mean that runt has been in that solo cup and it’s still growing and I have never taken it inside lol it got downpoured on too these plants are pretty strong. Now I’m kind of worried though because I’m starting a new job Monday working way more hours than usual hope I can give the plants the time they need I think they will be fine.
The runt is having a good time with me tonight lol I really surprised shes still going but I’m learning a lot from this these plants can stand alot I guess it is WEED lol
I know the feeling I spend more time at work that home seems like, yeah I think they will be fine it’s just a waiting game on mother nature
@Nip have you ever tried insect frass??? That will also build up natural defenses to bugs and pests.
I bet that runt is your favorite smoke this fall. The one you wished you cloned. Ha
No but I’ve heard people talking about it What exactly is it made from?
My experience it works good on adult bugs with chiton ecoskeletons. Specially Beatles and some of the smaller adult insects and mites. It doesn’t work the best on caterpillars per se. They don’t have the chiton exoskeleton yet.
BT is Still the best hands down for dealing with caterpillars. It’s all the fruit growers still use in the orchards. It messes up caterpillars from the inside out as they chew on the leafs. Literally erupts their digestive tract.
Nips, you basically just collect all your wild bugs, a couple nights in a row in a bucket with a flashlight. Or under a bright porch light. And manually crush them up into smaller bits. Then you let them rot in the bucket a couple of days like you would make a compost tea. The idea is the things that feed on the dead insects, are the things that also feed on the living insects. Basically infect them with the microbes that start to eat their dead insect friends. It works really well. The catches, it’s kind of slow. It takes time to infect all the bugs. The way around it is something you want to try to do on a regular schedule. But it is a valid, no chemical spray method.
The main differences it doesn’t knock them back overnight, like a Chemical spray would. It takes a little time to infect all the little buggies. It’s a great way if you have a field infested with one nasty bug like Japanese beetles or stink bugs.
Man did they like the warm weather today
Also looking at the last pics I posted holy growth these babies are moving!
WoW that’s very interesting I didn’t have a clue what frass was insects are terrible here always fighting them year after year trying to find the best stuff that is friendly to plant’s
Hang in There they fixing to get going that plant looks 3 times bigger than a day or so
