By the left plant. Those bottom leaves are draining. Could be more that dry dry. But id give them under 500 ppms just because
Okay thanks I appreciate it. I keep them out from 8am to 7pm then u see the LED till 2am then lights out till 7 am. Temperature here been 79-86 consistently for the last 2 weeks. Usually July can be hot and humid even outside I have a isolating fan on them. Should I maybe water every 2 days from here out?
As long as they are getting some outside time and properly drying out? Sure. Do u plan on uppoting?
No I didn’t plan on it. I was told 3 gallon was good for autoflowers. I was also told I should not transplant autos, maybe I was misinformed. I had really good luck last year for my first grow. I used a 4 gallon flower pot and drilled holes in a sour feminized ended up with 450 grams smokable, and a super skunk auto about 2-1/2oz. I grew in same same type of pot. A northern lights auto I had Ended up getting mold on the cola so I went with the fabric pots this year.
3 gall fabrics beat 5 gall plastics. You made a great choice.
Autos are a**holes. They do what they want. I have no idea how to maximize them myself. Never grown one much bigger then those. That said, ive seen 2.5 off plants that big at least half the time.
The trick to most plants is getting them available food before they need it. I find out when leaves show me. But o the joys of soil lol. When I see pistils, typically its time to feed. Honestly before. But until you know, u dont really know ya know?
I hear ya, I know it’s trial and error. You don’t use soil? This year I used organic MG mixed with bat guano and had a NL auto that was about 3 ft. The cola fell victim to mold. I used happy frog medium this year between the change in pots and soil, by sticking to what worked last year they dried out on me. The soil doesn’t breath in plastic so going off that I underwater these girls this year.
I’ll keep posting hopefully the continue to bounce back.
Week 7 weather been horrible so the girls been in for 3 days anyone know what this is under the fan leaves?
Looks like a buggie egg. Sorry buddy
I had scraped everything I could see off right after I took the pic. And cut a fan leaf off. They still looking okay. I haven’t seen any catipllier yet or spider mites. I also sprayed the Neem oil on the leaves. I guessing I should run a new batch.
Could you give me advice, I’m going to switch to 100% indoor. For this crop. Definitely indica due to size. Any suggestions as far as light strength for 4 plants currently I have 2 -150 watt Full spectrum LED UFO series
This is how they looking being week 8 been in for 6 days due to extreme heat and rain here.
The blurples drive me nuts man. Try to take natural light pics. My recommendation is to upgrade the lighting and cut the sun out the equation until you can commit to outdoor growing (whether legal or gorilla).
You’ll never pull expected weights from those lights. Dont mean to be that guy… but it is what it is there ya know?
@PurpNGold74 What you recommend for lights? Also I have a green house I am installing exhaust fans in and just installed power strip in it. I probably have to wait till next year to go big outdoors. Due to the weather drops fast in October.
Any suggestions on strains for indoor that are easy to manage? The lights I’m asking about would be for about 8-12 sq ft.
They dont look bad at all! Frosty lasses. Im sold on the HLG train. Bang for the buck, cant really beat them.
One of these would hook ur space up! They arent cheap but ud be throwing down nuggets next harvest.
Thanks appreciate it I’ll order this week. Any thoughts on good beginner strains easy to manage?
White Widow is excellent. Lovely smoke. Citrusy terps. Nice balanced high. And after 3-4 nodes? Impossible to kill lol.
It is popular but actually underrated imo. I need a few more of those beans myself. I went cookie crazy last round. But found Wedding Cake to be supreme smoke but horrid to grow. Finicky frogging plant!
Havent tried ILGM’s Super Silver Haze but grew one that was pretty damn hardy as well. Plant didnt miss a step! And again SUPREME smoke
Thanks appreciate it. I’ll keep you posted. I had good luck with NL as well I wanna try the silver Haze too.
Someone around here has this Northern Lights x Afghani…. OMFG… Super easy to grow. Frosty as all outdoors! And just lovely fruity berry terps (with pine) and VERY COLORFUL.
I cant find the colorful one on the vine. But there’s the frosty with just a few colors showing. And on the paper is the dark dark one. Almost black ![]()
Funny you mentioned that strain this is what I grew last year for my first grow.
Definitely frosty!!!
Lol I only thought of it cuz u mentiond it. Definitely an easy grower. She eats EVERYTHING lol
Yeah most definitely, I appreciate the info my brother I’ll keep you posted on the progress and when I get the green house hooked up!
We will see what happens with the final product of the super skunk autos
