Suggestions for this plant

It’s a balancing act. You have to pay attention to the plant while keeping in mind at what stage your in with the plant.

What’s your ppm’s now?

For sure.
About 700 now

I think your good right there. Sometimes plants may take a higher ppm than others. Sometimes they may want less. You’ll learn to read your plants. In hydro, from what I’m experiencing, less is sometimes better. Plants seem to respond faster (less amount of days) in water.

Nice looking plant. Tips do look very similar…what specific nutrient(s) are you adjusting?

I use to use GH but made the switch to Jack’s 321 before my last grow.

You notice a big difference? I use to use advanced nutrients but just switched to GH

Jacks does not get any easier and probably cheaper! There is no guess work. You just measure by weight and stir. Then add.

So did a res change and pH dropped to almost 5.3. What is the best solution to raise it? Added more water slight increase but don’t have pH up…all nutrients have already been added.
Thanks

I only use up & down so I don’t have a good answer. I do emember seeing several times on here not to use baking soda but I believe that was in soil & because of salt build up. the other day I took a drive to Columbia & picked up a 8 oz bottle for a friend & it was $7.50 a bottle.

Honestly. I know there is some thing but can’t remember. @Covertgrower , @Myfriendis410 @dbrn32 @Hellraiser @Nicky @Cannabian @imSICKkid what can you use for ph up if you run out

Baking soda will go up, citric acid goes down

Vinegar or lemon juice can also be used to bring ph down.

If I remember right. My silica will raise my PH. It seems with Jacks. The ph is really low till I add the silica. I can’t say for sure now. Brain fog. I do know that @dbrn32 would know for sure as he was the one that let me know about that.

Most of the household stuff is prone to swing after short periods of time or pose some sort of long term issue with using. I would just try to get proper solution for hydroponics from local hydro shop or greenhouse supply as soon as reasonable.

Just a little update! I’m excited this has been going so much better and smoothly :crossed_fingers:
Started flowering and got things a bit rearranged and did some minor trimming.
Been noticing the pH spiking up to 6.5 or so daily. I did add better bubblers… So just using more pH down. Is this expected?

Thanks!
