Sudden leaf death

The recharge is for ph correction and life. I am a strong believer in life in soil. Wont increase uptake as much as correct uptake in my mind. Probably wrong but works everytime for me.

I had just watered when i took pic. They soak it back up within minutes. Ph is showing ok. All i can figure is i messed up nutes recently. This is 4th grow and past 3 grows all did well .

You should never let a pot sit in its runoff. It can cause all sorts of problems.

Didnt think it was problem since water soaked right up within a couple minutes. I dont water until top inch or more of soil is dry. They usually take about 1 1/2 gal each. Runoff never stays in tray more than couple minutes before its sucked back up.

Closeups dont look crazy bad. I believe you will have an easy adjust.

New soil? Reused? I am a dirty grower. Living soil reused. My main issue is mag deficiency and have to ammend with epsom every time. As mentioned dry it on out and do over. If ever go to living soils never water to runoff. I mentioned the life builder as strong life helps balance ANY soil grow. The other guys have you. Just tossed in a penny.

I always use fresh soil. I was even wondering if they could have purposely been poisoned. We allowed someone to stay with us for few days because they didnt have anywhere to go but its not someone i trust allot.

Is there any chance at all that they will still produce something?

How long has that been going on? It seems too cold to me, but surely someone would have flagged it before me if it’s a possible cause.

If your runoff pH is 6.5 how high is it going into the soil. That might also be an issue.

If you’re feeding synthetic nutrients the run off expels the salts that come with synthetic fertilizer and should not be allowed to wick back into the medium, this will drive the PPMs up and create PH issues. If you’re growing using organic amendments you shouldn’t be watering to run off but keeping the medium damp, run off rinses away the organic amendments and microbial life. 2 very opposite styles of growing Growmie :love_you_gesture:

Yes, absolutely. I had similar discoloration. It was pH. Mine was too high going into flower. Meter was also out of calibration. Same thing. I flushed and flushed. Took about 8 days to figure out. Lowered pH, color came back. Pulled leaves as they yellowed.

Probably not good for the plant.

Me too.
Pulled leaves not good for smoking.
Too wet usually becomes my problem.

These are what I have in my drip tray. Work very well. Doing self watering bases this time though.
