Thanks @AZIrish! Today girls looked pretty good, decided to give them their first defoliation. Just took a few fan leaves off that were blocking bud sites.
My purple matcha leaves were tacoing, so I moved my light up 6”. It’s now about 29” above canopy.
Looking to really drive growth over next few weeks in final stages of veg. 12 oz of high quality bud is the goal!!
I might go with just water only for the mimosa to ease on the nutes next watering. I’m gonna keep feeding the others as their color seems to look good to me. What ya’ll think?
That sounds like it might be a good plan on the nutes. I was wondering as well what your water schedule has been like lately? I ask, because the mediums a bit dark.
I started with nutes when I transferred to 2 gal plastic pots, went 2 waterings WITH nutes. The 2nd feeding I forgot to PH like an idiot, so after that I watered only. The issues with the Mimosa cleared up after watering only, so I’ve done 2 feedings since then - one at transplant to 7 gal pots, and the other just a couple days ago I believe (it should be noted above).
I really haven’t watered too much because my temps are mid-high 60s and humidity is high for a few days after i water/feed.
The mimosa was the only one affected by not PHing my nute water earlier this grow, and is now the one with discolored leaves, so it seems like a finicky plant/strain.
Update tonight, girls seem to be looking good. Purple Matcha seems back on track, and the soil for all 4 is finally drying out. I think I’ll be able to water tomorrow. I changed my mind a bit and will just water all 4, straight RO water no nutes to give them a slight break and repair the Mimosa.
Trick or treat everybody! Girls are looking good today, pots are getting lighter, cherry 18 is very light. Deciding if I water em later tonight or wait until tomorrow, thinking tomorrow, but regardless they are doing pretty good.
I turned my light up a bit to generate a little more heat. I had also moved it up a few days ago to 29”. Ill measure later to see if the girls grew any height wise.
Sometime soon I’m going to do another defoliation, but target
Thanks everyone, glad to hear ya’ll think they are on the right track!
Just looked, they all look great, I’m glad I’m waiting to water and they still look good and not too dry.
Mimosa has serious node stacking, it isn’t spreading out much but I’m wondering if it’ll have the densest nugs of all of em with it’s super tight node spacing?
Also one comment, I think I’ll add a little more soil to the mimosa and Cherry, theres a decent enough gap there currently.
Small update, everything looking good after yesterday’s watering. Can barely tell I defoliated the other day, everything’s grown back. I’m getting hopeful these girls will continue to fill the tent, thinking 2 more weeks until flip.
I’m watching football, close enuff to ESPN right .
The mimosa has been super compact, I’m excited to see how the nugs turn out. I read on here the tighter your node spacing, denser the buds, and the Mimosa nodes are TIGHT lol!
