On two leaves, I wouldn’t sweat it but it appears to be both calcium and magnesium, could be ph related or just a leaf or two acting out. I’d watch it or check runoff ph to verify it’s not going to lock out and add a shot of cal mag if you want, it won’t hurt .
Thanks doc hope you’re doing well. I said fuck it and ordered a cannatrol.
Congrats on the Cannatrol! Might wanna watch the Fbombs, the mods will smack us on the wrist for those. Lol
Dang @IsItSticky , they are glowing bro. Nice work. Cheers. Just had to say something.
@Growdoc Tops look ok color wise? There’s been pretty rapid growth recently. 520 PPFD. VPD 1.1, Runoff is perfect. No signs of paling lowers so I don’t think it’s running low on N, especially in Ocean Forest.
When new growth is a bit lighter, it usually means they are growing fast. Those look a little light green, but I know different lighting and cams will do that. As long as numbers are on point, I wouldn’t change anything.
Stopoed by to check out the girls.
Gonna be a full house soon.
Enjoyed! Have a good one.
6 days till flip
@Growdoc is this an issue or what do you think. Posture is good but the new growth looks pretty lime. We’re 4 days into 12/12
You’ll see on the ground the leaves I removed from the mid canopy that had an obvious Mg issue
@MidwestGuy thoughts on the above homie?
It looks like you’re going to need some Epsom, the flip eats it, big lights do too. It’s just starting to show and not bad at all. I would give it some Epsom, check runoff to see what EC is and adjust feed up if EC is low. Runoff nuowill confirm it’s not lockout. She looks to need more nutes, but again, make sure of numbers.
@Growdoc what’s the best order of operations here? Should i do a light diagnostic feed to check for salt accumulation or just go straight to the Mg bump, then check that runoff?
I would give it a normal feed and check runoff, once you get that correct, just add the cal mag at the end and you know it will uptake.
Very nice. You hit her with go Juice, she will tripple.
Cheers friend
So @Growdoc.
Input: 6.5, 1.3
Output: 6.0, 2.4
Remember I’m in hot soil, so some of that background EC is still pre-charge. It was 2.7 at a reading 2 weeks ago from a 1.0 feed.
The rate of decline has slowed down considerably since upping my feed from 1.0 to 1.3 last week, but I do still see like 1 new small Mg spot somewhere every day. Nothing like the rapid decline we saw right after 12/12. I think the issue is correcting itself with this higher feed but we’ll keep an eye on it.
I do perhaps think I should lighten the feed a bit to get EC down to like 2.2
@Lostgirl, soil homie, anything to add?
I’ll go ahead with small Mg bump on next feed but plan on sticking at 1.3
