Mixed up a batch of soil to cook for a few weeks for a few more autos and to up pot the 1 gallon ladies from the clone army into. Im using the clones to explore diffrent techniques and figure out what works best for me from all the things Im learning. Here are some updated pictures from this morning from my "Clone Army "

Training clones is kinda weird looking because the nodes are staggered but it’s cool as all get out at the same time! :+1::+1:

Yeah it’s definitely different but I am so loving it. I bought me a set of pliers for jewelry making so I plan on trying your stem trick soon

It definitely strengthens them you can’t tell as much when you do it as you do later on in the grow. They form nice nuckles where you pinch. You will get a feel for it. If you over do it just tie the one you overdid it to up to support it till it hardens up some. A little practice and you’ll get it down.

I started in the seedling stage with a couple and did it to the main stem and it worked really good :flexed_biceps:

So I have a few questions on timing if you dont mind. Is there a point in time that I can no longer try the squeeze method on the main stem ?

Was thinking about trying it on this clone. Other than a drop that caused some leaf pruning I haven’t done alot with this one.

@Budbrother is the super cool dude that turned me on to it. I don’t think there is but I would probably stop about 4 weeks into flower. Mabee a tad stressful at this point. But BudBrother would be the go to. I’m still a newbie on the stem pinchin. (with the pliers that is)

The more “woodsy” the main stem becomes, the harder it is to squeeze without breaking it open…

Three weeks after flip the plant will be hardened off you will have trouble doing it but it still can be done.

I will attempt to be super careful but I will have a first aid kit on hand in case.

I don’t want to attempt it with any of the big Scouts in flower but thought I might attempt it on my little clone that is still vegging.

Had some forced hugs with pliers with this little lady. Not sure if I did it right but definitely heard some crunching noises and no broken stem so we will see

Also 7 days from snip and we have roots on this little one  Will get her potted up and lets see if we can force her back into veg

I snap mine and tell them it’s up them. No band aids or aloe or neosporin. I’ve coined it IDGAFcropping.
