Spudgunner's Clone Grow

Tent ladies! As promised! Hand fed Mega Crop 1 with some PK Explosion added, just cruising now!

Gonna be some nice buds on these girls!

Feeling wiped today, crappy weather does that. Would be a good day to nap away but grandson arrives in 15 minutes…no rest for the wicked!

Happy Friday folks, we made it to the weekend!

It has been illegal my whole life, minus the last few years. Never stopped us before.:joy:

And I’m in BC, the province where it was pseudo-legal before it was legal! We had dispensaries selling non-medicinal years before legalization, they’d occasionally get shut down, but they never went after small grows, rarely went after the 1000 plant grows either!

And now I’m old, my clean record can afford a bit of tarnish. Not like I’m looking for a job anymore!

Bit of a cleanup day today, and I did promise someone here I’d show the roots off the the plants with airdomes in the autopots, just so you can see the crazy roots.

These were harvested 4 weeks ago and have just been sitting like this since.

Looks like I used rockwool cubes for these seeds. Forgot about that! I picked some up cheap when the hydro store sold its stock to the thrift store, The stem is the same thickness to the bottom of the cube, then Boom! roots everywhere!

This is a side view of a dumped pot. Top of pic is where stem was, bottom of mass is where the airbase and dome are tucked under.

Bottom of plant, you can see the impression from the airdome after it was peeled away.

I wrap a 8" circle of landscape fabric around the dome for additional root control

But they still manage to find their way in! Peeled out nothing but a ball of fine roots, there is no soil here, just an air pocket pushing out more air.

This is how they looked when I put them in.

And 5th node, we have roots! Time to plant these last 4!

These went into 1 gallon pots, just used the old ProMix from the pots I just emptied. These 4 will join the other 5 in 1-gallons and become cellar dwellers. The 7 in 2-gallon pots will get the tent in 3 weeks or so. Ya, was only going to move 6 up, but the one I replaced had a bit of a recovery, so we will split them based on pot size. Probably be flipped in a couple weeks, don’t want them too unmanageable!

Anyways, I’m late, gotta go! Missed 4:20 walk with Sheba! Pack the pen and I’m off!

Smoke lots folks!

Managed to go look at the ladies before the light went out at 8am. Good thing too, they go thru the fluids in these 1 gallon pot pretty quickly, and it’s been a couple days since they’ve been fed.

These ladies sure are getting close!

One of these nights I’ll pull the scope out and check the trichs. Might be a weekend chop, either this one or the next. It’ll be an easy harvest, not many branches or leaves on them, just some nice chunky buds!

Stay safe out there, it is Monday after all!

Appreciate ya @Dennis62 for spindly little “extras” they’ve turned out pretty good! An early big lollipop in veg made sure that what is there is swelling! Easy to feed like this too!

Cellar dwellers are starting to get a bit crowded. I think they’ll get split up this weekend, maybe Sunday. Tent ladies are nearly ready for chop, these need to be flipped soon.

Somebody is looking for a supercropping! Fortunately she’s in a 2 gallon so she will go tent-side, right in the middle.

Have a great day folks!

Nothing like a two-hour soak in the hot tub with a couple of j’s on a hot day like today! Dialed the tub down to 94F the other day, can sit in it until you prune!

View of the garden area behind with the 4 outdoor Vietnamese Black plants in front of the raised bed of carrots, lettuce, peas and beans. Edit - And peppers!

Still have time for an hour nap before I have to pick wife up from work! Man I love retirement!

Harvest day today! Grabbed everything I needed, snips, a dozen wire strips, my phone…

Damn phone was dead! Plugged it in but had to carry on, so no action shots. But the deed is done! A dozen ladies hanging by their toes.

Just stripped the big fans off, took an hour to do all 12.

That left the tent empty! Well, for 1/2 hour. It was lights out when I chopped (2’ish) and also in the cellar. I took the 7 plants in the 2 gallon pots and brought them up to the tent, going 12/12 starting 8pm tonight! So in 15 minutes they wake up and I can take some pics of them.

But the remaining 9 cellar dwellers in the 1 gallon pots are staying down there. They’ve got more room to grow, outwards and upwards. Maybe in 2 weeks they will get flipped? We shall see! But here they are tonight.

More in a few, gotta eat a late dinner, then smoke 2 joints to start the evening. Finally get to see the finale of Yellowstone! Great show, pretty raw and gritty.

So cellar dwellers have been on a 6/2 x3 schedule, and today after the light went out at 2pm, I unplugged it and reprogrammed the timer to 12/12. At 8am tomorrow it will go on after a nice 18 hour sleep. Don’t want them to get too tall on me, there’s no way to give them more room!

Bonus: Both rooms will be using flower nutes, so I can mix up a bucket and split it in half, easier carrying it down the stairs.

The harvested plants aren’t quite dry yet, but at this stage I like to take them off the branches so that they can dry more evenly. Figured I’d separate the big buds from the rest, the one in my hand ended up half in each pile, they have to fit in the jars eventually!

When all said and done, results from 12 plants.

This weekend they should be dry enough to trim and jar, will get a final weight then, my guess was 8 ounces when I chopped them, we shall see!

Smoke on folks!
