Spudgunner's Clone Grow

Welp, looked at them last night and they were dry! In the tubs they wet, and today I spent 2-1/2 hours in trim jail. That’s after a wet trim that took a coupke hours too! And the results are in!

In the metal bowl we have the trimmed sugar leaves, came in at 75 grams. Think I’ll decarb the lot and mix it in with 1/2 bottle of Everclear. Below that are 2 trays of nice thick buds, some smaller but all solid. That totaled 407 grams! That’s 14 -1/3 oz! And below that is a tray of looser larfy buds.

Weighing the larfy tray came out to 94 grams.

And probably about 5 grams of kief

Not bad from 2 plants! I’m a happy camper today!

Oh, funny story time…I took Seba out for her morning walk today, and at the start of the trail came across another dog walker whose dog Daisy get along with Sheba. So we walk down the trail together, me puffing on my herb pen. He’s in a rush as he’s gotta go to work, he’s retiring in 2 weeks. Ask him what he does. COP! I laugh and jokingly say maybe I should put this out. It is legal, but you’re not supposed to smoke on the trails or parks. Too bad I’m smoking anyways!

Speaking of, time to roll some, there’s a couple of joints worth of crumbles from the trays after I jarred them. Enjoy your evenings, folks!

Thanks @Dennis62 @kaptain3d @Retiredoldguy and @4204life appreciate you guys stopping by! It’s getting manageable now almost on cruise control. I only have the 12 flowering in the tent and my 4 legal outdoor plants. Oh, and 12 more in the cloner. And 5 cuts in the wine fridge which will be added to the cloner this Sunday just to see if they will take after 3 weeks.

So yeah, settling down!

Transplant day today! The 12 tops I took 3+ weeks ago have mostly rooted, so I’m going to put 6 into 2 gallon pots, and the other 6 in 1 gallon pots (but only 2 today).

Couple of days ago the roots were only about 3" long, once they get going they seem to explode!

And it was 3 weeks ago I took these cuttings and put them in the beer fridge to chill out. Today is the day they get re-cut, dipped in rooting hormone and set in the cloner with the last 4 from before. Of the 5 cuttings I took, only one looked beyond hope and was tossed.

The “newest” cuttings are those limp little things up front. Hard to believe the other cuttings were almost that small.

Lights come on in 5 minutes, but here is the cellar ready to veg again! Still on the 6/2 light cycle, even for the clones.

The 6 in the 2 gallon pots will go upstairs to the tent once the 12 ladies in there finish flowering, and the 6 that will be in 1 gallon pots will sty in the cellar. The 4 newest cuttings, if they take, will also stay in 1 gallon in the cellar. They are more of a proof-of-concept shits&giggles experiment, don’t really care if they grow out, but if they do, more bonus buds!

Now get out there and smoke some!

Smoked some more out in the garage tonight, took the phone for some pics.

Here’s the dirty dozen tonight 10 haven’t been topped, 2 have. They’ve been 12/12 since May 21 or so, almost 4 weeks.

Night all!

Noon here now, figured good time to get some pics of the outdoor ladies. And measure them to see how much they’ve grown since May 1st.

Here’s a family shot, the 4 ladies with 4 pepper plants in between them and 4 cherry tomato plants to the right in those black buckets (ya, wish they were white, but…). Lettuce and carrots are doing the shitz this year, but the peas and beans in the back row will provide some view blockage soon, as well as something to eat!

So, from left to right…was 19" on May 1, now 34" tall.

Gone from 27" to 46".

Was 24", now 44".

This one doubled, from 20" to 40"

We haven’t even hit the solstice yet and they look like they want to flower.

Really lucky where I am…no grasshoppers, not many moths, pest management is more just checking occasionally to make sure nothing is eating them. Weather is supposed to be good for the next while, mix of sun and cloud, very little rain but no scorchers for a couple weeks. Feed and watch, feed and watch!

Hope everyone is having a great day, I am!

Been a while since I’ve taken some pics, so let’s fix that now. At least of what’s awake, let the sleeping beauties rest.

So I transplanted the rest of the tops that I took, only ones left in the clone dome are the fridge babies. So I set them back under the t5 in their own Amazon tent.

And they’re getting roots! One each so far, but the shits’n’giggles experiment has rooted in results!

Here are the 12 transplants. Seven are in 2 gallon pots, the other 5 in one gallon. Was going to do 6 and 6 for the tent and cellar, but one of the 2-gal girls is suffering a bit of root shock, so when I did the last batch one of those got a 2 as a replacement.

One of the 1-gal girls also is recovering, but the plan is to have those 6 and any of the fridge clones rooting that make it to 1-gal pots flower out in the cellar, and the 6 2-gal girls go to the tent when it is empty again…maybe 3 or 4 weeks?

A side-view of my favourite, the big one in the middle of the group above.

Outside is doing ok, it’s been cloudy with rain for the last couple of weeks. Everything growing, young/old, indoor/outdoor, rooting/flowering is all Vietnamese Black.

So from left to right

As we hit the longest day of the year, all my PHOTOPERIOD plants decide they want to try and make babies. We’re at 16hrs10min daylight right now, don’t hit 14 hours/day until August 22nd!

Don’t want them to reveg on me, but they won’t fit in the tent even if I had the room!

Rest of the garden is doing meh, ok I guess. Tomatoes are finally taking off, and I have a pepper on each of my bell peppers. Peas and beans are starting to provide the view screen for my plants, it’ll be nice when they start producing too!

So I finished my stair/planter box a few weeks ago, filled it with good dirt and 20 strawberry plants. Three yards of dirt for it and the yard, new seed, and it looks pretty good! The 6x6 beams make it pretty solid, and matches the hottub pad and the bbq area with the 16" tiles.

Pics of the tent tonight hopefully! Until then, smoke and grow on!

Looking fantastic brother, hopefully they don’t reveg  good luck my friend, have a great day

Thanks Dennis, appreciate it. They don’t get the sun until about 7 or 8 in the morning, and they lose it to the cedar hedge around 6pm, so hopefully not! The cool rainy weather has been good for the new lawn, and I haven’t had to walk on it often to get to my garden to tend things. How the girls react next week when the sun and heat hit will be seen, I guess

Ya, this is it for a while tho. Need a break after these outdoor ladies are done. Have about 4 pounds stashed now (legal limit is 2), one of which is this VB strain. I’ll get another 1/2 lb of the 12 in the tent, then the 6 in 2 gallon pots will get another pound while the other 6 to 10 in the cellar will be another half. So that’s 3 pounds of VB not counting the outdoors! And will be 3 of other strains too. So ya, need a break. Can only smoke so much!

Altho I do want to run a CBD Cream & Cheese Seeds, 22% THC and 18% CBD photo. Just one in the tent in an autopot. Let her get huge! But that will be January, then can clone the crap out of her for next year’s outdoor plants!

Federally it’s weird how it’s regulated, but provinces can set different limits under their authority. Which is good as Fed limits are 150 grams dried! Per household!

But good ol’ BC…
Adults 19+ can carry up to 30 grams of dried non-medical cannabis, or its equivalent, in a public place.

In addition, adults cannot possess any more than 1,000 grams of dried non-medical cannabis, or its equivalent, in a non-public place, such as at your home. This limit is per household and is based on the expected yield from four cannabis plants.

One (1) gram of dried cannabis is equal to:

  • 5 grams of fresh cannabis
  • 15 grams of edible product
  • 70 grams of liquid product
  • 0.25 grams of concentrates (solid or liquid)
  • 1 cannabis plant seed

From above definitions, half pound.

And yes, I still have 1 jar of the 9 Lb Hammer left from 2022! I hated growing that plant. At least until harvest! Should have called it 9 Foot Hammer. Had to tie them up in the tent.

So if you were to wash you excess you’d be within the 2# & half? Seems legit and worth it vs composting and no hash :thought_balloon:

Compost it? Because I have more than the law says I can have? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I do have 3oz of trim I’m going to decarb and half a bottle of Everclear should make for a potent batch. Unlike the last batch where I used an oz of bud to a full bottle and got more of a booze buzz than a high. I don’t mind an oz shot mixed with OJ, just not too many!
