You could just put less flower in the pod so it’s not as potent. You don’t have to fill it. It’s actually better if the pod is not completely full anyhow because the oil needs to be able to flow through it.
True that. I was thinking of running 1/2 oz batches first. An oz will have about 5000mg of THC, I probably do 100mg doses, so that will last me 50 days! The only other person I share with is my future son-in-law, no one else in my family indulges in the devil’s lettuce.
@MartyMarajuanaseed when you calculate your dosages, do you estimate your weed strength high? I mean like m Sleepy Joe is listed at 33% (probably under the most ideal conditions, maybe not what mine is). If I use the trim (which will be way lower), do you “estimate” it to be say 25%, even if it may only be 18% ? Guess high so you don’t get too high? Rather think I’m having 100mg cookie and it only be 80mg, instead of thinking I’m having 80mg and actually having 100?
I guess the danger of that is if you estimate too high a % of your weed and you think you are handling 100mg well, and then you try a “real” 100mg cookie and get too messed up!

I actually have no idea about the amount of grams or potency. I just put an ounce in 4 cups of coconut oil and let it rip. I ate 3 brownies the first day and got totally messed up stuck on my couch. Literally… LOL… It works great! I could’ve probably ate 1 and been good. The next day I ate 3 again though… I am a glutton… LOL
Easy to “guestimate” your potency…An oz of weed is 28000mg. Multiply by your potency…say 20% THC, you will have 5600mg of THC in your ounce, rest being what’s left. You lose say 20% in decarbing it so 0.80x5600=4800mg. You put all that in your brownie mix? Cut that into 48 squares and you’ll have 100mg per brownie! Which is why you want to estimate your weed-strength higher than what it may be, that way your brownies will be less potent than you guestimated, not more!
Ya, math was a strong point of mine, altho I hated trig and calculus!

Math is my worst subject… I just go on what I know. It would’ve been hard to cut that pan of brownies into 48 pieces though… LOL
So now the question is…how many DID you cut it into?

My last brownie batch has me afraid to eat another one.
They have resided in the freezer since the last eating.
One was too much for either of us.
Can’t remember the recipe, now, either.

Zip Zip Hoorah! So roughly 400 mg each! And you ate 3…maybe try a 1/2 a brownie next time! Check the Levo site, I think they have links to dosage calculators.
Mine still has the status of “Packed” but not shipped yet. Grrr, order on Nov 14th and it was in stock. As long as it gets here before Xmas so I can open my present on the 25th!

I hope you get yours soon. Canada apparently has snail mail. I used to ship a lot of my custom archery strings up there. I had a lot of customers tell me the mail is slow. I used to have to fill out a separate form at the post office for customs. They wanted to know the price of the article I was shipping. I had customers up there asking me to keep it under $12.75 to avoid the international tax on the package.
Actually, 1 brownie gets me pretty nice. Then I eat another one before bed and I sleep straight through the night without waking up in pain like I used to.

I don’t even know where it’s shipping from…you order from the Canadian site, but that doesn’t mean they have depots in Canada! And still no email from them saying “shipped”. They said they use UPS if Canada Post can’t deliver…maybe they are waiting to see if the strike ends or our gov’t forces them back to work. I’ll text them again today asking, it’s been a week since they told me it was packed and ready to go!
It’s gota be here in 3 weeks! I want to open it Xmas morning!

Got back to them (via text only, no phone #). His response
“It looks like the order still hasn’t shipped as yet due to the shipping method selected, I will have our warehouse change your shipping method so we can have your order shipped asap.”
I chose the free shipping option as I figured I had a fat month for delivery (ordered Nov 14). They even said free was Canada Post UNLESS they couldn’t deliver it then they’d use UPS. Damn strike started the day AFTER I ordered!
Well, at least now I know it should be on it’s way! Hope they don’t decide to ding me shipping (I don’t tink they legally can, if they do, I’ll get credit company to refuse that as unauthorized)
