Looks good @M4ur…you can make one more cut above that one, do it at 90 degrees from the first one, just be sure to put another zip tie above it. The zip ties insure that the cuts won’t keep splitting. You don’t have to tighten them where they cord the stalk…just snug is good. What the stick (I used two popsicle sticks in each cut) does is it keeps the split open. Good luck with it. You should see some results in a couple days or so.

I split the main stem by accident. (Lesson learned: always prune with scissor, don’t try yanking the leaves off) I thought for sure it would die. I put a piece of duct tape around the split and the plant is doing super!. Hope all is well on your end.

It happens @RemyMartin…we had some a coupe of months or so ago that were so loaded the stalk split where the branch was growing out. My wife put it back together with some masking tape and it healed fine. We did use some sticks on it to help it bare the weight.
