I used 2 license plates and tar
The hole was the size of a 16" softball

Love the veggies too! I started my pepper plants waaay too late so now I’m going to go get some established plants at the nursery cuz I don’t think these will mature in time.

I didn’t feel like going to get some shingles so I looked around for something to use instead, that’s what I came up with with my redneck engineering
I showed it to hubby and he was like ‘Yup! My kinda’ man LOL

UPDATE on HLG
Boy I felt foolish calling back HLG telling them I would like to pay for the dimmers, see when I went to install the new dimmer I remembered when I ordered the last 2 lights they forgot to send the dimmers with them so HLG sent them out with Plastic boxes to put the dimmers inside of them. I figured it’s a good time to install one since I’m replacing the dimmers Fu-k I found 10 new dimmers they sent with the boxes last time so I had dimmers all along lol
Forgot all about them
HLG would not take my money after I called and admitted my mistake so that’s a great company with great C/S

What happened to your dimmers? I have one that cuts out sometimes and i have to unplug it and plug it back in to get the light back on. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the humidity shorting it out…Edit… i see now, HLG forgot to send them and you had some…
What lights do you have that are doing this?
It only happens to the HLG 320 Rspec FR
It does not sound like a dimmer issue but it is possible I would check all your connections and the cord for a loose connection
I have Inventronics drivers I can send you a couple of free dimmers if you get me your info on i g just let me know if you send a message I don’t go on there a lot

I just jarred up the last harvest here’s a few tops from the ILGM WW
I had some late nanners show up.
If my memory is correct I read something about this happening when finishing off with Ruby’s flush and Winters Frost but it’s so late that it doesn’t hurt anything If anyone can confirm this Please let us know

I do think it makes a difference for the better
Last year I had huge fruits and used no fertilizer
Less bugs
All around better than the last time I grew a garden but that was about 5 years ago from the last garden
I did same spot in the yard though
