Sour d losing color on tops

I watered my sour d vey lightly just enought so she could use the water within a couple days because i had ran out of calmag and was going to add silica ive been growing under a 1000w led in fox farm ocean forest keep temp in mid 70s while lights are on goes down to high 60s when off i use an inline filter on my water hose to clean the chlorine out and i use the gh trio with calmag superthrive and just added silica i do a feed feed water mix i also use cal carb as a foliar spray its great by the way but shes been fine until today i noticed where her tops are is getting really light green not so much yellow yet but hopefully it doesnt get yellow i also have an exhale bag hanging in grow area.

Please post a few non blurple pics of you have them. It will help folks assess.

Its on pic of a plant thats not purple i turned the kind leds off just a white led from my house light is on i think its the wrong pic

Thats the one

You plant tops don’t look too bad. The newer stuff will be lighter I color. Concerning to me is the white stuff all over the plant. Is that sediment left behind by water drying or is it powdery mildew?

I think you may be under watering too , but without knowing more specifics about your grow I can’t be positive. Please fill out a support ticket with as much as you know. Thanks!

Its cal carb foliar spray i dont let the soil get dry more then 2in. Ph is 6.5 ppm wigh nutes is 646 because my water is 445alone 1000 watt led 24in × 10in i think and its about 26 in. Above plant i use a/c and cool mist humidifier i have a 4in. In line fan and carbon filter temps day are mid 70s 55-61%rh an night is high 60s and 60-68%rh light cycle 18hr. On 6off i grow in fox farms ocean forest mix in geopots that lady is in a 2×4ft veg tent its from seed of course by ilgm my favorite supplier

I have a couple of more questions:

When you water, do you water to runoff, such that about 10% of what you put in comes out the bottom?

If you do water to runoff, have you collected any and checked the pH and ppm?

And just so I have you straight, when you add nutes you are adding about 200ppm on top of your hard water which is 445ppm? Have you had a calmag deficiency before? There’s probably calcium and magnesium in the 445. I have well water and have not needed calmag. Also, Ocean Forest is got a lot of nutrition inside it and may not need nutrients until flowering cycle.

Overall though, you plants look OK, but I think you may be underwatering. @raustin in a resident expert I like to tag to back me up (or overrule )

I agree, I don’t think these plants need any nutes yet, that FFOF is quite hot and is charged for the first fire to five weeks of growth. Your girls look good, but they do look a little underwatered.

In the description for Sour D it says it is susceptible to powdery mildew. It also requires low humidity levels. I’d say get your humidity level down in the 40’s or lower. I grew Sour d last winter and it did great in humidity at 30 to 35% during lights on and mid 40s during lights off.

Yes i water until 10 before20% comes out the bottom the runoff ph is 7

I havent had a calcium deficiency before i do have purple stems on some of my plants though i havent checked the ppm in my water runn off within the last watering because i only gave her a liter of water so i could feed a litgle calmag and silica but yes my ppm of nutes is about 200 havent had any over feeding problems except with a sour d that i used mega crop on and i made it too strong and i know thats y that happened you live and you learn tho right thank you for you ingo tho it just worried me because shes been a bit darker all her life i know new growth is relatively lighter but i dont think all the lighter green is that new of growth some of its been darker as well

I think she is in pretty good shape. 7pH runoff is a little high. I would plain water feed at 6.3 to 6.5 pH to runoff and check ppms and pH, again, when the soil is dry or ready for a watering (it looks like it is now?). If the new growth doesn’t darken up or it continues to get lighter, maybe there is some sort of lockout happening or something, but right now she looks nice. Good luck!

Let her ride you won’t probably Need nutrients until it’s almost time to flower that Foxfarm will do the trick

Its worry some because all my other ladys that are in the tents tops aren’t so light it kind of looks like nitrogen deficiency but its at the top of of the plant not starting at the bottom or curling im thinking i put too much nutes when i added the calmag silica mix i had already given a very small amount of calmag three days before i believe

If it where me personally I would ph and water for a while longer with fox farms Each plant will react completely different to it

So no more nutes till shes old enough to bloom?

this was a white widow I did in fox farm no nuts at all it was all the soil I just ph d my water

Wow @Hogmaster that looks awesome. I just bought couple of bags of FFoF for my next grow. I wasn’t aware that it too is hot. Did you put your seedlings in it as well? I germinate with the paper towel method and had a 7 of 8 success rate with my ILGM seeds and they are all fems.

Sweet thank you ill just nute the ones in coco those are beautiful did you do any training on those ladys?

I germinate in ff soil and have a 95% success rate yoj know you get a bad seed or two along the way its just part of the experience
