Oh can we now start talking about cloning?

I’m a lazy so I use ro water and a air pump with a big ass stone.

Put that in a small storage container and cut holes in the top for some aerogarden pods.

Then as I defoliate the plant I take branches and stick straight into the pods… nothing special or fancy about it.

When roots pop out put them anywhere you want. You can even remove the plastic pod and keep the sponge on and goto soil or hydro

My wife said the same thing when I tore her zkittlez baby a part and made 6 more plants from it.

It seems risky but the reward can outweigh that quickly. You also gain the experience from it

There’s mine, and what happens when you run out of room to place them all

Alrighty my friend. No idea how i got here but happy to be. Im typing as i read the messages so sorry if i repeat any advice.

First thing! When you got the pH correct, the MG fed your girls waaaaay too heavily. @8.5 ph she couldnt access it, so it didnt hurt. @6.5 she could drink her fill… and apparently she went overboard. Definitely a case of MG nute burn. Kinda a hard fix… more water equals more release of food. So a flush in essence feeds her heavier instead of resetting her plate.

You are DEFINITELY gonna need more light. You see how her side branches are weak and she’s lanky? Not intense enough lighting is the problem there

Hey! Here’s how i got here. Thanks Bob

Just saw u trimmed… let her bush up a bit. N a topping would go MILES.

@Jbum i agree. That soil looks mighty dark. Id use more perlite next time… assists with drainage. And drainage is always good

No more trims!

@Amazon66 here’s the thing. MG isnt the devil its made out to be. It isnt… evil (just check HCG’s grows) Its just unforgiving as all get out! Especially for new growers. The control of what they eat is essentially what we aim for. MG releases N whenever wet. Taking control from us. (No no)

Phone dying at post 23. Brb

I’ll stay tuned for more info

@PurpNGold74 Ok so don’t do anything to her just add water with a ph of 6 right. I’m getting a green house installed this weekend, that’s gonna be there permit home…I think I might move them outside tmr! And do u think I should too the other plants or let them grow more?

Only thing I know about soil is that it’s good to cover dead bodies with. @garrigan62 is Mr. Soil

G man is the soil maker of ILGM. But without a doubt you’ll need something else to start with… at least if making a good soil. You’d rather start with ‘potting soil’ and amend then amend some MG that has timerelease nutes.

@Amazon66 look around for black gold (home depot) or try amazon. Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Happy Frog and also Strawberry Fields are great soils. Dr Earth also makes a good one (kind high tho)

@Floridabud MrCrabs had u on point. U wont make it thru the grow with that pre-fert’d soil on 200%. You have 2 choices in my eyes. Flush her ass to the moon. I mean 25-30 gallons. Do u have a ppm meter? Monitor it after each gallon (past 10 at least) OR option 2. U have new seeds. Get new dirt and drop them ladies.

The other plants look fine. Maybe they are heavy eaters… but i bet when u tune they pH in range ull have similar issues… the heat stress u keep hearing about is the leaves curling upwards. It makes sense, u changed environments last week. She’s getting used to less airflow and possibly higher temps with less co2.

@PurpNGold74 then I’ll just ph my water to 7, I have lots of seeds, 2 are planted in the pic container, thier are 2 in a green 2 gal bucket, and I have 3 germinating in a paper towel! I should move them all out tomorrow then if wait till Saturday for the green house? I could flush her but I feel like that would just drown her in time release fertilizer :man_shrugging:t3:

Yea but eventually ur gonna need that N outta there. Especially as she matures and drinks more. Can u imagine getting to flower, sexy nugs starting. U water n come home to a fried plant? If she’s gon burn… burn her before the financial and time investment of a late grow.

Also pH’n out of range means she wont eat from her roots, therefore weak roots, weak plant. And all her essentials would come from cannibalizing herself

@PurpNGold74 So ur recommending I flush all my plants with a ph of 6
