I got you covered on that to Granny. When ready. I’ll send you the Klink unless you have the tea already.

Honey, I have both teas in my stash. Right now things are looking good so I’m waiting for the plant to say “feed me”
I thought you did…Good deal then Granny…
@garrigan62, When you say you let it sit for 30 days in the sun, do you mean you leave the top off the container and let the sun hit it directly or you leave the container covered? We get a lot of rain out here and I wasn’t sure if more water getting in is a bad idea. Personally, I’d be using the single bag of base soil or the 1/8th recipe. I’d probably be using 5gal buckets to hold the mix in. Just wanted to know if I need to keep the bucket lids on or put holes in the bottom of the buckets for the rain to pass thru? Also, if I do leave it closed up, how much water should I add to the mix before closing it up?
Great post btw @garrigan62!!
Is super skunk considered to be one of those “high nutrient” strains that you mentioned to require more concentrate?
I don’t see an answer to your question and was wondering what you did. cover?
I am going to start building the ingrediants to put together and surfing the blogs and seen you question to @garrigan62 that doesn’t seem to be answered.
Yeah it sucks I never got an answer but I’m still cooking the soil in the sun for 30 days. My next grow will be with super soil. Plan on doing the jack herer strain. Anyone have any experience with jack herer grown indoors?
I cook mine as a precaution but I have planted just after mixing with no ill effects that I could see.
I don’t but I already started a grow in my 5 by 5 tent using Roots Organics original. But once these three girls in this tent that I use Roots Organics greenfields for I’m going to do super soil. I don’t think I’m doing greenfields again one because the guy hasn’t gotten any more and I’m going to do the super soil and try that.
I think I’m going to put a lid on mine even though it’s going to be on a covered porch and I just don’t want bugs getting into it. It is probably meant to be covered anyways.
I cover mine.
@garrigan65… There are No Grow Stores within 200+ miles of My House, and I’m Hoping that Pro Mix with michorizae will work with the Ingredients that You Specified added and Mixed according to Your precise Recipe… Thank You Sir in Advance, (and You too @mp420. Thank You)
I just mixed this up the other day and I have 2 questions. Will animals did this up? My dogs can’t seem to stay away from it. And secondly, i
I’m knee deep in my grow, like week 9 in an outdoor project. Can I side dress my plants with this? My plan was to get it cooking and then let it over winter and use it next year. I’m in the north eastern part of the US and I don’t think I would have time to mix it and get my plants going all before mid May.
I’ve used it right after mixing and “cooked” it for a month. Does not seem to be a difference between the 2.
I don’t cook my soil
I’ll leave it sit for 30 days but that’s it. I really dont see why you would. Now the base soil which is mulch from around banks ill let set but thats it. It wasn’t cooked millons of years ago. But you Can if you want to
In other words, as you are starting the grow, germinating seeds, you’re mixing your soil in preparation. By the time the plants are ready to be transplanted from the seedling pot the soil is already coming to life. Having lively soil is so damned important. Amen brother.
You got that right. Soil is very important. Just watch out for the N. P. K with your mix. Veg and flower are different. And then you have the tea. There is information …
I’ll send you the link when I get back on my lab-top ok

I plan on growing outside, in the ground, starting in the Spring . I would like to know what if anything I should do over the winter months that would help/improve my soil? I was thinking of using your soil mixture in the garden and letting it “sit” over the winter?
Thanks!
