I agree with everything you are saying here. A lot of the the reading I’ve done on some of the methods used in growing, many of the conclusions are based on older tech. I think using soil for new growers is a positive and negative. Positive in that it can be more forgiving for newbie mistakes. Negative in that when there’s issues may be a little harder to figure out what’s going on. I’m on my 4th grow in soil now. I mostly have it going in the right direction. The only thing that has prevented me from going to soil less grow is the daily watering and the need to, based on time constraints to set up a auto watering system. I’ll get there eventually. Again thanks for your help on all things growing.

I have to say I had the same concern as you. But my straight coco cups I’ve only water once so far and I’ve watered my soil twice… I can’t believe how long they are staying wet. @imSICKkid is this how yours are as well? I was thinking every other day…

Yeah if it’s pure coco I may not water for 4 days sometimes whenever they’re young. But usually if your in proper VPD range then the water tends to evaporate a little faster. My room stays in the low 80s.

Here is something you might like this is faster than coco it work’s i have seen it work I’m still on the fence about it but nice plants and saving money on using less nutrients and water
There beneficial mycrohazial is awesome I’m testing it on my garden and good results there but i figured it might be something to check out
