I would say use that net train em down, and flip if/when you can’t see the green lids anymore. I suppose it would depend on what you’re chasing. :call_me_hand:t3: if you spread them out I’d bet it would cover most if not all of it.

All totes pH levels had dropped to almost 5 or lower again! More silica and a some tap water to top up. Never experienced pH going down during veg, I usually have to add pH down as the water here has a pH of 7.8!

All totes at just over 500 ppm, which is good and gives me a nice buffer to increase the ppms with flowering nutes without having to change out the reservoirs.

Changed light cycle to 12/12, they will have 14/10 today, will check pH tomorrow and all being good give them a taste of flowering nutes.

Roots of one of the young girls…

5 days later…

pH dropped again, seems the silica is only a temporary fix, so I went with pH up and overdid it got them all up to 7.5, oops… Had to adjust down with some pH down, now all at 6 to 6.5.

Ppm pen decided to go on the fritz and started to give lower readings the more often you dunked it, lucky I have two spares.

And 15mls of a + b Flores and topped up with tap water. All totes at 640 to 680.

These are almost 8 weeks old grown from seed, they are all super lemon haze, though all a little different from one another.

They have been flipped to 12/12 five days ago, so I am waiting for them to stretch, so I can get in there with the pruning scissors more easily.

I can see you are going to have a challenge… I asked about if clones because I thought that was why your roots spread out so much at the net pot… my roots form one thick one down to the normal nutrient level and then spreads out from there…

Might just be the net pot size, I am using 4 inch net pots, either way I don’t see why this would be problematic, to be honest my roots look better.

when I see roots from other hydro grows they look like yours and never look like mine… I always thought it was because they started as clones… I like having that big straw for my girl to suck thru… :cowboy_hat_face:

5 day update and pH test today and again pH levels were down some more than others, pH up applied to all.

Ppm at 570 to 650, they have been using more water than nutrients, have to add a litre a day to most totes. I did add 10mls of Calmag to the older plant as it was looking yellow, though they all seem to have lemon green foliage, though that one more so.

Will be adding more nutrients tomorrow after making sure my pH adjustments were good.
