Seeds sprouting out of Buds!

Yeah that’s crazy too! I just love nature! I imagine the same thing is happening… the seeds are actually sprouting right on the plant!

And I am OLD SCHOOL! Remember the days when there was no such thing as seed free!

Ok group, so since I’m a newbie growing and not the least bit shy to admit it, here goes. I have had 1 solid week of rain, and it is looking like it knocked some tricomes off. I know it sounds crazy, but if a plant hermies, I’m assuming when the pods pop open the can pollinate the other plants correct? This has all happened since the rain began. Could the stress of all the rain 8 weeks into flower have caused this? Hope these are not silly questions, but I’m coming to the group for answers. I would also like to know since it’s clearing up today, if I should go ahead and harvest? Or let em ride another week or so and see what happens? I’m posting some more pics, and if anyone sees anything that looks like male pods, please respond. Thank you guys for all the input.
P.S. I did put some of the sprouters in cups, waiting for some action.:grinning:

I’m be had that happen many times. Tomato sits on the counter too long.

Lawd, my typing is terrible. I’ve had that happen many times. I wasn’t even buzzed at the time I posted so I hope this one comes across coherent.

I have not really had any answers to my “OK GROUP POST”? Can all of you guys please offer some advice? I’m curious at this point if tricomes could possibly reform? And if these hermies could be germinating my other plants? And I said 1 week of rain, I just realized it’s been about 10-11 days of straight rain! I do have some under a dome I made outside for them, but now I’m wondering with the lack of sun and light if these can try and re-veg on me? I will very greatly appreciate all of your inputs. Thanks

A lack of light will not cause a reveg.

Probably not unless the plant is able to go into another growth stage. Trichomes are mostly ripening now by late flower stage. In my opinion, no unless new plant growth is apparent. It is waiting to die and get pollen basically from the plants point of view.

Pollen hitting your plants a few weeks before harvest won’t make seeds. At best a few premie not hard seeds. For seeds like you got the pollination happened 8 weeks ago. Seeds need about 6-8 weeks to mature, 4 weeks max to be hard or viable. Or at least in my seed projects on the w coast. So, if your other plants have seeds that are mature, ditto on the pollen time. Regardless if pollen drift, or hermies from your own plants. I did not see any obvious hermie nanners in the photos you posted. I would have to assume your pollen event was at least over a month ago regardless whom or what caused it.

Well said and true. Reveg takes about 8 weeks and is from the plant being put back into a long light cycle closer to 18-20 hours on. Dim light or < light waning would only increase the flowering and moving to senescence. Basically seeds or die from the plants point of view.

By far your biggest problem. Mold will set in. Most of us outdoor have to call it early due to the rains. Some bud is better than no bud because it all got moldy. To be honest I am surprised you have not had any bud rot yet. Those are some solid mold resistant plants you got there.

Please feel feee to ask anymore specific questions. I will try to answer them if I can give any feedback. I will also admit it when I plain don’t know.

Jesus! It looks like a little worm coming out! That’s the tail of a seed that spilt inside a bud?
Wow. Sorry :sob::sob::sob: I don’t know, but I am sure some experts here can help you. All the best :+1::+1:

Yup, looks like his seeds started sprouting within

So if it has seeds assuming it was a hermie. It wont be still letting off pollen would it? Mines was a hermie, I noticed seeds a few weeks before harvest. I had no nanners that popped out either.
