Thanks! Crappy soil and less than optimum feeding but what I got I loved. Old school Thai mmm mmm! I saw that Oh My Thai and if it’s anything like the older Thai strains I’m gonna need to order that!

BTW, I went ahead and sent an email to them. I’ll wait to hear back from them and see what they say…

Speaking of seeds , I have a FatBastard with lots of self seeds , I have a friend who likes to be right all the time . He states S1 seeds are rubbish and only good if you get 1 random seed from a whole plant lol . I told him that’s S1 seed and mostly what you’re buying from seed banks . Hope I’m not too wrong on this , he’s so annoying . He’s been growing hydro for “40” years lol .

That doesn’t sound right.

On my plant, I broke its neck (super cropping) due to the stress I presented to the plant at the end to my surprise she hermied producing tons of seeds in all her buds.

The actual original seed originated as a ILGM Doe-Si-Dos feminized Auto flower.

I’ve tested two grows personally with over five seeds and every seed that came from the hermine plant was both feminized, and autoflowered and grew totally normal

To be even further correct, I’ve given away many of the seeds with approximately five additional grows All reporting back the same positive information. Actually two of the people I gave them too are on this forum

Thank you for confirming . The person in question seems to be prone to … bullshitting I guess . Old wives tales aren’t always right . Looking forward to spreading the FatBastard love . I have a Phenotype of Blackberry Moonrocks , a mother plant I decided to flower , she will no doubt have seeds too . Would they be considered F1 or F2 or something like that ? Thanks again Lostgirl , glad I found you lol . Peace .

I’m probably not the person to ask about the genetic timeline. @OGIncognito has bread some seeds in his time. Maybe he knows the answer to that

Thanks for the tag Sis, @Templeballs when a plant produces seeds and was pollinated by a male or a collected pollen sample the seeds produced are F1 Hybrids. When a plant self pollinates it’s an S1. This can be induced by stress or as a last ditch effort to reproduce before her life cycle is up she’ll self pollinate by producing male pollen sacs that have feminized pollen resulting in the plant producing feminized S1 seeds :love_you_gesture:

I’m not sure now , if the purple myst did it before I harvested them , as I found a banana in a bud . Or if the FatBastard pollenated itself as I just found a burst pollen sac . It doesn’t matter as long as the seeds are viable I’ll tell when they grow . I intended to do this anyway it’s just out of my control now . I’m guessing minus 5 and 6 centigrade would be classed as stress . I’ve lowered the light levels some time ago so it’s not light . They are all almost ready for harvest and I’m hoping that some of the seeds have at least set . I only need a few . Peace .

If the seeds sprouted and the plants started growing then they are viable and fine and should flower when the plant is sexually mature.

If seeds die during storage they won’t germinate or grow.

If they don’t die during storage, they should grow into normal plants but might take more time to germinate.

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking. Feels like ever since I started watching my numbers carefully like PPMNPH I haven’t had really good luck with growing. I don’t know why.. before I just mixed my chemicals together and did three weeks in the first start off. Next three weeks was mid and last three weeks was bloom. Did I get rid of my fan leaves too early? These are questions. I ask myself all the time. Didn’t mean to take up your time thanks again.

I had to show you guys this, this is after seven weeks after sprouting I see no indication of buds. I’m thinking I’m going to yank them and start over again. I thought I would try my hand at feminized, but I have to go back to auto.

If they are photoperiod plants, let them go, don’t pull them. They will just keep bulking up until ready. Longer time but bigger harvest reward. Good luck.

When did you flip to 12/12?

They won’t start budding until the days get shorter or you flip the lights you usually see buds starting a couple weeks after flipping
