When u buy nugsmasher u r basically paying for the name. Dulytek makes some great presses big and small manual or button push for like a fraction of the cost of nugsmashers. I mean im in it for the material not the name brand of something. Dont make sense to me to purchase a press for 1200 when i can get basically the same thing with a diff nane for a third the cost and they do exacttly the same thing. My 7 ton dulytek is great and its pressed me lots of wax. Lol. I mean alot lot.

That’s why I want to make my own. The only thing I add is the liquid terps, which ain’t exactly natural but I at least know exactly what it is. Some vape carts from dispensaries are THE WRONG consistency to be natural.

No surprise to anyone, we had a bad heat wave and the plants in the outdoor planter died (again).
The tent plants are doing great. They’re all ready for an up-pot.
I still haven’t checked the pots to see what strains they are. 
at least I know it’s written on them.

I’ve got 8 in the closet. No markers, 4 strains, about to bump those numbers to 10 of 5 strains. The last 2 Yeti Wedding Autos I have will overcrowd the closet nicely.

I’m prepping my soil for an upcoming grow, and a couple days ago I used some Gnatrol, which I’ve used before. I used a bit more than normal, and I noticed an odd smell from the pots today, almost fishy.
I looked around the forum, on the Gnatrol website, and on reviews, one of the reviews mentions an odd smell, though no types of “warnings” or some such thing.
My Gnatrol bag is less than a year old.
So … I guess the odor could be normal 
, if you know? More importantly, I trust that the soil is fine.
This afternoon, I ran some water through the pots and the odor seems a bit better.

Hey there.
I always found it smelled kind of odd. It smells really yeasty at first, and then as it sits (I had mine in the aquapots), it develops a bit of a fermented odor from whatever it was with. So if you’re using fish shit or a similar microbe along with Gnatrol, I wouldn’t be alarmed by the “fishy” odor.

Maybe I didn’t use therapeutic amounts of Gnatrol in prior pots. I saw a few more gnats than usual earlier this spring from the same bag of soil I’m currently using, so I wanted to get ahead of any potential problems.

It’s been too long again. I keep gettin so busy and honestly my tent set up right now sucks bad. The environment won’t regulate without spending a fortune on heating/cooling. I’m slowly emptying out a room in the house to get the tent migrated into a controlled climate. I have been able to do some very small scale runs of new crosses, but not enough that I’m confident they’re stress-tested yet.

I told my wife last night it’s been hard, every time I’m here I just miss @Lacewing a lot. I know I gotta pop in from time to time though, especially since I know a lot of you guys have good ideas about how to make the most out of a little space!
I got my wife to agree to carve out a 2x2 spot or so in my laundry room when I get back from outta town. So I can regulate temps a little better during extreme hot and extreme cold seasons.
