Scrug, new build, indoor, hydro, Lucas formula

Are swamp coolers better than portable air conditioners for grow tents? Have to figure something out for this grow, and maybe next grow, after that I’m hoping on having my room built in my shop. New room will have a lung room, bloom room, veg room and a trim/storage room. Planning on having fans built in with some ducting to take the lung room air into each of the other room, totally enclosed. Once it hits the last room trim room, then it will vent out through two 8” carbon filters, 1 which be an inline filter so it will go through the first filter, then the inline filter, then vent out of the rooms. 2x6 walls ceiling and floor so I can use R19. The shop I’m putting the room in has 12’ rafters so I’m thinking inside the room, floor to ceiling 9’, should be plenty high enough for lights.
Always open for suggestions as I’m sure I’m over looking something.

Depending on time of year and Relative Humidity I think a swamp cooler would bring problems and eat carbon filters for lunch :green_heart::metal:t2:

Well right this minute, sitting outside, it’s 64% RH, inside the tent is 49%

I’d go for a small Chinese mini-split :green_heart::metal:t2:

And a cold Coors

Thought about a dual hose portable, that way I can suck air in from the outside, as I never realized that the portable units used room air for the condenser, and when the tent it running 85 to 90 in the tent the a/c unit don’t cool as well

Is that a new Olympic event??? :thinking: :smiling_imp:

Changed hydro today, ppm 890, PH 5.84, finally got the tent down to 81, had to leave one flap open, with a portable a/c unit outside the tent blowing into the tent, another a/c unit inside the tent and a 5 gallon bucket of ice next to the intake on the a/c unit inside the tent. Will see in the next couple of hours if the temp stays under 90, if not then I will figure something else out

I have 8 plants, this is the only one doing this, is it the strain needing different conditions?

Very short and dense, it’s been topped.
Any suggestions?

Week 3 to 5 as not all seeds were dropped at the same time, but I will be switching to bloom for all at the same time.
Soon I will have by room built, with a veg room, bloom room, drying room and a trimming room. Or maybe make the drying and trimming all one bigger room, and of course a lung room.

Any ideas what may be causing this, I’m noticing it on the older fan leaves
