Different phenos will exhibit different characteristics. Think about planting 100 of the same exact variety of pepper. They are all the same variety maybe you even harvested seeds from a plant you grew. But, each and every one will have subtle or sometimes not so subtle variations.
Then after you have some experience you start a dozen of the same strain same breeder and look for the unicorn. When you find that unicorn, you take cuttings from her and those will be exact copies of that particular plant. For instance lets say you were growing 12 Obama Kush and one of them smelled far different from all the rest and her branching and overall structure was stout and strong…this would be when you’d take cuttings to preserve her.

I got 20 g13 from them not one has survived only like 4 have actually poped and those just die off in 24hrs I’ve literally never had a seedling die on me except these I also have had only about a 50% success rate with germinating their blueberry autos its why I switched to seed supreme
