Good evening everyone, sorry I haven’t been around much just been super busy. On top of my usual routine I have had to home repairs (do it yourself). Had to put a new faucet in extra bathroom. Then tore out a big tub now installing a 3x5 shower. @Dforce good evening my friend hope everything is going well for you. We are finally cooling down some here. 80s to low 90s daytime 60s to 70s at night. But another week or two and hopefully it will drop some more. I’ll be just right for harvest around the 12th to the 18th I should be harvesting 3. One maybe a little earlier.

Tried my hand at making some honey. Bought this little machine that works for decarbing, tinctures, butter, oils etc. One really simple recipe was the honey, so I tried it while I’m waiting on a bunch of things to come in for making other things like candy and gummies.
That’s my honey in the blue bottle didn’t have a top or dropper that would fit so took stem off of the sprayer and cleaned it good. It works. I love chewing on the left over weed. Taste great like honey weed

@Dforce hope things get straightened out at work soon shorthanded can be a bummer. I’m hoping the eatables will help me slow down on smoking. I love smoking but my lungs are kinda needing a break.
@Budbrother yes sir, I wonder about that. Now that I know what temps to cook everything if my infusion machine quits I will try the crock pot. Thanks for the tip. I decided you’re a very smart person when it comes to cannabis. I’ve learned a lot from reading the things you post here an on several other journals. Good morning everyone, I hope you’re all having a good weekend. I have a question about decarbing. This machine i bought has automatic settings for decarb infuse etc. When set to decarb it runs 225 degrees for 90 minutes, 30of which is warm up time. Is this long enough? And or does the next step continue to decarb it, such as making the honey or tinctures?
@Bentstick ok so I’m looking at recipes in book that came with machine and like making infused honey it calls for decarbed weed. So is this process not necessary
As far as I know and remember it will do it all, put weed in decarb, then honey, oil or what ever you are using let er rip when done while still warm strian.
Yes. I’m sure they accounted for the ramp up time in the settings.
The heat you use to infuse the pre decarbed bud is lower. There is still some decarbing going on during the infusion, but that’s fractions of a percent.
@Bentstick@Budbrother thank you both for sharing that. Sounds like i can go by the book on this. I took a good ounce of mixed buds, some well cured, decarbed it and took a cup and a half of honey and infused it. Using the settings on the machine and it came out really good .
@Bentstick yes it seems simple enough, wish I was able to grow more cannabis. I’m wanting to do some tinctures and make some gummies. But to do very many i need to grow more cannabis. Anyway here’s my progress on this grow. I think the small kool-aid breath is going to be ready this coming weekend while the other 2 will be a little longer.
