I know that potting two together was a rookie mistake. I am a first time grower and I threw the seeds in without much research. But it’s done now and they’ve gotten pretty big and have some buds forming. I feel like they are too far along at this point to pull one. Will they survive?
Pretty sure the roots are all grown together at this point. Would be a risk of losing both I think if roots were damaged. Not sure but I would just ride it out!
You will be fine. I’ve seen a couple people do this with good results. @CygnusX1 did it recently.
I’d start training them away from each other if anything.
^^^^^ This! Lean em away from each other as far as possible. It might take a few sessions but then that what they arent fighting as much for space and light.
June 9th and she’s in full flower mode. The days get shorter soon. She could reveg gonna be close.
Question are these two plants feminized photoperiods? Regular seed? Autos?
Auto flower white widow
As some of the others said LST them apart you’ll be fine
Ok your good then. That’s gonna be some smooth smoke. The strongest one will win out.
Try a tomato cage and tie each plant to grow up the opposite side. Outdoors in the ground I’ve grown many like this with no issues the problem is root space in that pot.
Simply upsize your pot to say a ten gallon is my best answer or stick them directly in the ground.
Good luck
I may move them to bigger pots. But I have been thinking about long term growing them in a mini greenhouse. Keep nosey neighbors and pest off of them. Do you think they will grow nice in a greenhouse?
Will it hurt the plants to move them in a bigger pot now?
Once there in flower best to leave them in there original pots
Flowering means buds starting?
I’m in the south. So not legal. Do you think they will do good in a mini greenhouse?
Let them ride it out . Looking good
The Greenhouse will work great especially with a fan in front of it. They are so early into flower it won’t hurt to upsize to a bigger pot. Let the soil dry out before you do so as not to break up the roots when transplanting.
Good luck!
Rather than disturb them, I would place bag and all in a larger container. The roots will penetrate that fabric.
I have a photo that started in a 2 gal fabric and I planted the whole thing into a 5 gal fabric and it is doing fine.
Me too
Yeah, i hear you about nosey f<"(>,% neighbors!!! This is my only issue with my whole grow set up outside of the back of my house on a 2nd story deck. I have an old couple that live across the street, that the house sits down over an embankment but, geess whizzzz are they nebby nosers…dork idiot maggoteeze… no life gossipers. Im so worried they will notice my operation and run their mouths to everyone. I can only be as inconspicuous as possible for so long until they reveal their selves. Im growing other plants for shade. Ive got tomatoes, onions, peppers. They only grow so high and bushy. I’ll wait and see.
Me too! Luckily no neighbors at all and several hundred acres nobody should be on without my permission
What’s is all the white stuff in the dirt?
