Day 7 since breaking ground. One fell over, I assume it was damping off. But, just got my order of Skywalker OG photo and dropped one in water today. Do the girls look like they are on track?
Yes, these are for the next flower cycle. My current flower tent has Rewind, a cross of Granddaddy Purple and OG Kush Breath. Got the cover crop seed and mulch down Sunday I think.
Well at least the internet was correct at least about one thing… I actually joined this forum because of conflicting information on YouTube and websites. I am amazed at the intentional disinformation from big brother… yes, paranoid, but, disinformation, the elected Powers that be, well “reefer madness” is a prime example. Or maybe, most likely this reason, it is that I tried to cobble together a grow based on too many sources and due to differences in each grow, different methods were used. Anyhoots, my first set have me incredible results with what little yield I harvested. That grow was done before I joined here, but my profile pic and the background are of my buds. I can post more pics if you all want see what ignorant enthusiasm yields. Here’s is pic of it, i will post more if needed.
@Ri0 Damping is usually accompanied by, if not caused by over watering and stretching to get enough light. Our selected powers that be (2000 Mules) don’t want you to grow pain relief in your back yard. I hear that in Cali you can grow high THC weed but not high CBD. You reminded me, got to go fishing so I can plant my tomatoes on top of some nice ripe fish heads and guts. Your weed looks great! You’re well on your way to a great harvest.
@6stringT The Native American method, put a fish and a plant in a hole… Does fish fertilzer do the same? I assume no cause of the missing bone, etc… A whole fish has to have more than 5-1-1 which is the NPK of the Alaska Fish fertilizer I use.
side note… @6stringT I agree with you. If we can grow it, then there is no profit for those companies that manufacture less effective medicine for our conditions. Lets be honest, I am guessing that most all of us have tried prescriptions before we were able to grow our medicine. You know, I wish I could trade a pig for a bail of hay. Bartering usually meant both parties were satisfied with the traded. I grow one thing, you grow another, we trade, done. My main problem with prescription medication, and I am not saying it doesn’t have a place in medicine, but what I am saying is that drug companies lobby, get our elected officicals on the payroll through potical donations, and then, there is no truth, only commericals tellling you the new drug will cure xyz, and you may die from taking it… I would rather die from a slow cough, drinking, smoking, etc, I am not okay with “what’s the problem?” , pain, immobiliy et. al. Get a prescription, doesn’t help, oh wait, now my liver is fucked up… Sorry off soap box and RANT put back away.
@Rio , I have far more Native American blood in my veins then Pocahontas Warren ever lied about so the fish bones go in the hole as well. If no fish, then chicken shit deeper in the hole. I’m still trying to figure why anyone would want to take an experimental drug funded by W.H.O. genocidal geniuses who publicly advocate 50% population reduction. OK back to weed. Thanks to the wonderful help found here we can look forward to harvesting gracious plenty of pain and anxiety relieving meds. I’m finding that my high CBD C+C has helped family members with chronic pain issues.
Have you used straw mulch before? It’s interesting.
Not really with the cover crop, once it sprouts. I use a 12 seed cover crop blend of clovers and other nitrogen fixing plants. Then I get “trim the lawn” and leave the greens to add to the soil.
Cool. 40% won’t hurt them. But I’m a bit paranoid re bud rot since I lost 3/4 oz. off the nicest one I’ve grown from some foot long dense heavy bud. My fault though. I was battling to keep the RH up and forgot as I was successful toward the end, that late flower RH needs to mimic fall weather and dryer is OK to avoid the dreaded “curse of the successful grow”…bud rot. You’ll be OK cause you seem to have a good handle on it.
