they look really good. LST will bend them and spread out the plant so everything gets light. The idea is to get all of the colas working upward at the same time. So right now without LST, the plant will focus all its energy on that center cola. Once the plant is bent over and the main cola is no longer free to grow how it wants, the rest of the colas will catch up. Spreading her out makes sure all of the colas get light.
I start my LST as soon as I can get the top of the plant to touch the side of the bad, usually the 4th node. Take your time and bend them slowly so they donât break. Also, the best time to LST is when your dirt is dry and your plant needs water. She will be more pliable then. After watering, the plant will be too stiff and can break.
Donât worry about them getting enough light if they are growing good she will make more leaves fast and those lower colas will take off. Take a look at the pic I gave you of the whole plant. Itâs a GG4 auto. So I wonât be topping her. Each tie-down is attached to a cola only and gently trained to the side of the bag for more room so those colas can have good airflow and light availability when the buds come in. Before LST my girl only had a few leaves, two weeks later sheâs growing crazy big.
Well since they were watered yesterday I will wait until right before the time to water. I am only giving them water twice a week, and only 12 ounces per plant. So thanks to you I have a better grasp for the LST. I am just super scared to Top the plants. They are Northern Lights and they only supposed to get 28"s.

Oyeah the little one in the front of the picture was broken in two places. So I put toothpicks beside it & tape. It is small might have stunted growth, but it is going outside June 1rst. I have to wait until the night temps donât get below 60
Wow that is amazing. I will definitely start The LST tomorrow. I have company for a few days. My Tent is behind my Fridge. My place is small one bedroom Duplex. He said whatâs that Black thing. My wife said itâs a Wardrobe we donât have enough room for my clothes. He hasnât said another word. He knows I smoke but I donât want to show it to him. But I will definitely start the LST tomorrow. Started the LST this morning. While company sleeping. I bent one way. I figured I would bend them four ways in pots 1 week each. To make sure four sides get colas and moving them I will be sure they get even light spread???

I have started the LST but I donât think I did it correctly, I saw a picture and they pulled it from one of the leave stems. I pulled it over from the main stem. Will this hurt plants. If so I will change it ASAP. Ranman.
Plants are very durableâŚas long as its not too much on the system. Here is some thinkingâŚPlants ,animals,people, Food,water,shelter, all in moderation.Deer could eat a plant half way down and it will grow back. Experiment with what you read and see and learn from itâŚYou got this.
I took them out this morning to change from stalk to branch, my wife helped and we topped one. Anyway from just being leaned 2 days. But I saw more new colas. Having fun. Again thanks for your help you have taught me alot.And your pictures really tell the story, I will keep you posted. Ranman.
I have been doing the LST and changed to other sideâs of plant on every 3rd or 4th day. Should I stop the LST as soon as I change light to the 12/12 schedule? Ranman.
Also I donât plan on starting the Flowering until mid July, that will be close to 3 months on the 18/6 schedule. This takes alot of time using Photos. Next time I will definitely get Autoflower. By the time I cut dry & cure will be 6 months minimum. Ranman.
When I was much younger I had some plants in a cornfield that I actually had to take a canoe to get to them. Anyway by the time I got back to them they were 4â tall doing great. Then I went back in October, the Deer had totally ate them. I donât believe they would have ever kept growing. But I am a Rookie & just by talking to you I can tell you are much more experienced.Ranman.

The small one in the front actually broke in two places and I put a toothpick on both sides and put tape on it. It is smaller but itâs going outside as soon as it doesnât get below 60 F at night. Probably next week. I dug a hole and filled it with the FFOF Soil in the hole,plus the soil in the one gallon container. I have been pissing in a gallon milk jug and putting it on the perimeter around where the plants going. I heard and read that animals canât stand the smell of human urine. Ranman.
I am doing the LST now but I am not sure if I am bending them enough, they are bent in the last pictures I have posted. I lean them and late on the 4th day I bend in another direction. That way I can bend them in four different directions after 9/12 days. As I said this is the 27th day in Tent on the 18/6 schedule. I messed up from the start by leaving them in the Jiffy Pellets for 10 days on my cable box next to a window. They got 3/1/2 to 4" before I transplanted them in the permanent soil. Which I just cut the bottom and sides of the Pellets. After these I am going to Auto flower.Ranman.
I am having problems with the LST.Each time I check it,it has pulled the leave off that I attached the pipe cleaners too. I am going to stop. I believe it has stressed out one plant it is shorter than the other one. As I have said. I am a Virgin grower. I have another question. The one plant that is the smallest of the three was the one that broke. I used toothpicks and tape. It does seem to be getting fuller but not getting taller. Do you think I stunted itâs growth. I also keep getting you mixed up with Tokerguy whom has always given me great advice. I am taking the smallest one outside on about the 27th. Time will tell if it makes it. I would have already moved it but this has been the coldest May I can remember. The biggest thing I have learned is to by Autoflower seeds. You can buy Autoflower Feminised correct? Ranman.
