Question on reservoir readings

What’s from the silica?

The bubbles. I use a pond pump to mix nutes put silica in for 10 minute mix before adding anything else. Same bubble’s when just mixing.

that is not normal in my experience with all that foam/bubbles…yes cutting back the air will probably reduce the foam but the problem is still there IMHO…I use 2 teaspoons to every 5 gallons of distilled water for my Si…what is your ratio???
plant looks healthy though…

I have a 20 gal system, 1/2 ml per gal. 10 ml for reservoir.usin power si concetrate

that equals my 2 teaspoons…but I wonder about the word ‘concentrate’ in your Si…the one I use is not a concentrate…

Don’t know. Lights are off right now, i’ll check this evening and get back to you. Thanks for you help.

here to help if I can, by chance are you using any Hydrogen Peroxide…have a good smoke session today…

As a matter of fact i am just put 20 ml in yesterday. 1 ml per gal. Also use bleach 4 ml for 20 gal res. I don’t use with peroxide, wait a few days before i use bleach.

well my friend if you are putting Hydrogen Peroxide and bleach in your system I have to ask why?
this should only happen when you clean it out after a harvest/grow and then flush very good with clean water before you start adding your nutrients…

thought it woul keep the system sterle

will not use bleach any longer

Guess i was misinformed!

I don’t want to say that because we learn new techniques everyday in this grow world…hydroguard is what keeps your system clean during the grow…

I used h2o2 when i first started rdwc. I had all kinds of problems.

Once i stopped trying to be sterile and started using the beneficial microbe tea everything stabilized and became easy as pie.

The tea you refer to is that the one you used to get rid of the white slim?

Yes, that’s what I’m talking about.

I’ll give er a try!

Somewhere deep in this thread you can read all about my experience with slime and everything related to my starting to use the tea.
Good luck.

Yes i keep up with your thread.

What southern ag product do you use?
