Good morning cultivation nation!!! My wife’s birthday is tomorrow and we’re having her family party today. She requested beef ribs, so I’m doing one rack of beef ribs and 3 racks of pork ribs.
Salivating down here Brother Matty
Morning brother OG! I thought you might be up early with me today
Mmm… Meat. Top of the mornin @MattyBear ! That Skywalker OG you were speaking of sounds like my solo cup run last year. Purply, sticky, dense, suuuuuuper sweet. It was night night juice for me.
Nice setup. I’m seeking one that’s all done by pressure like that. I have the dulytek 7ton I love it but I’d love to have one I don’t have to throw down so much strength to get the press to it ability. Lol. U can get the 2x4 micron bags and fill it packed tight enough to fold a lip over the ends and u can prolly pack a bag with 15 to 20g and get prolly a 7 plus gram return depending how dry the product is. I dig that setup tho.
I didn’t get a ton of my pbb like 5oz but it is my first trial run in the autopots but the taste and smells of pbb r great. My wife loves it says it stinks good. I enjoy it as it don’t have the spicy or fruity smell kinda a bit skunky coffee smell to my nose has a super nice high and a great taste tho. Since my rooms r empty I tossed everything for clones as I am on verge of giving up on this between work getting stupid busy and wife not helping me much with the growing anymore I may be done here if so I will put a post up for anyone looking for equipment as I have a lot of. Stuff not exactly sure what I am doing right now tho. I wanna try again but I don’t as it’s just too much with work being the only one touching plants til it comes time to smoke them. Then they all wanna be a part of that. Lol.
If u press single buds one at a time u won’t really need bags. If u wanna press a quantity at once bags t needed or a mess happens lol. I pack bags with hands using thumb to press it in bags tight then I fold the lip and pre press it in the press before I cut it on to warm up. Squish it as flat as I can without blowing the bag then I turn press on let it set 2 or 3 mins to heat up the whole bag stuff then give it the squeeze pressure little bit at a time I always max my press out when I press so I always have 7tons pressure when done. I’ve tried to press picks a second time and if u press it fully the first time it’s not even worth a second attempt to me as I get super little if any. Maybe mark up the parchment paper is about it. U can however use the used pucks in a wash and wash out the rest of what’s in them and I’m sure ud get a better second run that way. Sorry woke up early smoked a few hits of pbb and I’m baked ready to get the day started. Lol
Looks like they’ll be some happy tummies later today!!
Hey hey brother! Happy Canniversary!!! Thanks for swinging through
Sorry to hear you being so busy lately. I’m the only one who touches the plants until it’s time to smoke too lol. Hopefully you don’t have to stop growing, but if you do, we have the classified section for members to sell their stuff
I haven’t pressed since that first time. I need to, but I don’t have a lot of extra material right now so I don’t want to mess it up until I harvest and have more material to work with. I do have the 2x4 bags and was trying the bottle neck method. I’ll post about it once I get the press fired up again
There sure will be! My nieces and nephew only like the ribs I make, and they make quick work of them
Appreciate it man! Then ribs look mighty fine! Enjoy your Sunday!
You do the same broski!
4/8 have been chopped. We’re at the end of week 11 since first pistils. Cheese and Godfather OG came down this morning.
Cheese (left) GFOG (right) with and without flash
I’ll be trimming both Skywalkers soon but the stems still bend and don’t snap. They have been drying for 8 days now.
The remaining 4…
Dry trimming
They look great though. Have you all ready dropped for the next round.
Harvest congratulations Sir @MattyBear
