I did rearrange the tent and the CIC is now back right. The smaller two are trying to pick up the pace so they don’t get taken over haha

Why not just do autos if you want short quick plants? Just curious, thanks.

I have grown autos before. They have a predetermined veg state and can be well over the 3-4 weeks that these took to start flowering. Going 12/12 from seed with photoperiod plants gives quicker, more reliable results than autoflowers.

As always thanks for the info. I’ll have to keep that in mind

1 gallon that’s great was thinking about 3 gallon instead of 5 gallon-- your thoughts ? you go 12 pots ? that’s going to be a very full grow !!!

when you use a flower light this also really helps -have a Red spec QB seems better than the full cycle - there is a difference had to get used to a full cycle board again

I started with 10 plants in one gallon pots. One was a male and was moved to the sunroom so I have 9 plants in the tent. In the future, I think 8 will be the sweet spot. I have grown lots of plants in 3 gal pots too and they’re great, but I like having a lot of variety so I do the one gallon pots

Thanks !! wanting to use something smalller than 5 gallon because there is too much soil that is un-used so to say. the root systemm for system is small comparied to the size of the pot, even use root stimluators. considering 3 gallon --how is your yield’s in 3 gallon As stated have 3 - 5gallon 1 - 4gallon, 1- 3 gallon and 2 - 1 gallon The strain in the 2 gallon is really growing - using LST method. Ther was something about size of pot to yields meaning 5 gallon = 4oz yield - 4 gallon = ? have to look for that information by Carl Kushman ( had potcast about this) just wonder what the “standard” is know that yields are a combination of growers experience and genetics

You can get 1.5 ounces in a solo cup :cup_with_straw:?

All depends on strain and grower. Like Yoshi stated, you can get nice hauls from any container. Veg time taken into consideration

yea ! for big plant need at least 1.5 mo’s more like 2 if you have the room for it to flower Now we are talking 1.5 to 2 mos’ in veg -Remember Vegations stage starts when there are 3 sets of "true"leaves, No couunting seedling stage that cab take 2 weeks so fifure 1 week germnation and 2 weeks seedliong stage so 3 weeks after you plant start you veg count-down ! some times I only veg for 30 days when I’m in a time frame for that specific grow. - But then it also comes down to cultivator and genetics and last method of growing (LST, SeaOfGreen, SCROG)

I veg one week on 6/2 , one week 18/6 , straight to 12/12 !
I also give them a 3-0-0 feed right after the 5 finger leaves spawns out at a half measure just to get them going!

thanks ! good to know what works for other cultivators , thats how we learn - sharring knowledge Forgot to mention the light one used can greatly influence one’s yields !! I believe some one has all ready mentioned about lighting

Oh yeah lights are definitely a big big factor , intensity and par coverage is a must in full spectrum !
I’m not running full power , just 3 & 3 as of now , but by season it will be insanely lit :fire: in there once I get them bohemiets up and running !

starting to back off on lighting was at 100% in flower --now that it’s 3 week in flower running it at 75% eventually will be at 50% before harvest

So… there are some cons to going 12/12 from seed. Biggest issue is timing the defoliation since they are on different time frames. I think I’ll start by removing all the lower branches off all the plants. Probably start that today or tomorrow. Raising the lights has encouraged more stretch for the ones that hadn’t started to button yet.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year! :call_me_hand:t3::v::bear:
