6.8.25 Update

Number of seeds dropped 3

Number of days from sprout 21 (larger plants) and 23

Number of days since flowers identified One plant just started pre-flower.

Lights on temp/rh 77F-83F, 15%-35% RH (rain early in the week)

Watering/feeding frequency
So far, every 2-3 days for the larger plants, and every 4 days on the small plant.

RO water.

Recharge mixed into their water once every 7-9 days.

Grow Dots mixed into the soil feed the plants through their entire lives.

Grower comments Very good growth this past week.

One of the larger plants has just begun pre-flower, the other larger plant is close behind.

On both, I tied down a pair of lower/mid fan leaves to expose bud sites.

The small plant is healthy, though looks like she’ll remain small.

The plants are currently on a 19/5 light schedule.

I’ll likely shorten the light schedule a tad in early/mid flower, as the weather gets hotter.

One is noticeably larger than the others. I was out of town for a week and had my son pinch hit with watering, about 1/2 cup each. There are 2 photos in the tent and I need to switch to 12/12 soon, maybe this week. When I do that I think I’ll keep the biggest one in the tent and put the other 2 outside. I also have a Jack Herer and NL5BX outside, so they won’t be too lonely :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Grower comments: Still dialing in new nutrients. MFG suggested adding fulvic acid and hygrozyme. In doing so I soaked a few more than I should have and growth has slowed. I turned on Co2 and should transplant soon. Growing is fascinating. Here I was worried when they sprouted with crazy stretch. Now they are pretty compact beauties and I look forward to a good stretch in veg!

Grower comments:
Progress slowed, one laid over and two leaning, put small stakes for them to lean against. Thought they may be damping off, aftaid I may have overwatered. Saw yesterday there was some growth going on but a couple looked odd. I should have been paying closer attention. The tap root had pushed out of the dirt on two of them and was growing sort of just sub-surface, trying to lay those plants over too. Sorry, didn’t have the hands or the where-with-all to get any pics, I was kinda panicky when I discovered it. It may have been doing the same thing on the third one that had previously laid over too. I think it may possibly be due to the looseness of the center soil of 75%/25%, FF Little Warrior/my experimental soil mix? Damping off? Combination of both? Not sure.

I supported them with a wire tie, covered the root and lightly tamped it (no compaction being loose and dry), and this morning they looked a little better…a little larger. I’m going to wait to water until they tell me they’re thirsty…if I can hold out. :v:

Comments. 1 plant so far. The two beans I buried on 1 June have yet to break the surface but I give them 1-2 ml around the center every 24 hours. Just to keep the soil moist; not giving up on them just yet. Admittedly, I am waiting on my personal grow to finish and clear out the tent for this one to get her legs. I am using a very low power light. She is showing some color already but I attribute that to the house staying very cool to help the black widow. Have a great Tuesday evening.

My days from sprout were off the last 2 posts, and since stunting them having to transplant them I’m not gonna do any HST just LST open them up when it’s time.

According to tracking I should be installing the Spider Farmer SE7000 Monday or Tuesday.

Group shot.

Number of days since flowers identified 5 (the taller plants)

Lights on temp/rh
19/5 light schedule.

Watering/feeding frequency
Watered every 2 days, with RO water.

Recharge mixed into their water once every 7-9 days.

Grow Dots mixed into the soil feed the plants through their entire lives.

Grower comments

The shorter plant (in the front) is nearing pre-flower.

I like the way the plants are growing, especially the two that are flowering.
They have some stretch, and their lower-side branches are long enough to LST, even in their small containers.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Number of seeds dropped: 5
Number of seeds sprouted: 4
Number of days from sprout: 21 (05/26)
Number of days since flowers identified: #1 = 2 days
Lights on temp/rh: 82/50, 550-PPFD on 18/6
Watering/feeding frequency: When needed, signs from plants (none yet), pot weight; 3 waterings since breaking ground.
Grower comments: Things are lagging here, slow growth, not sure why. Could have been watering too soon on their second drink or maybe it’s the experimental soil, not sure. One started showing signs of flower yesterday. Surprise, surprise! I’m not sure how much LST I can do on such a little thing, or if it’s even necessary…..or worth it. Flowers this early is a new thing for me.
The fun continues… :victory_hand:

Watering/feeding frequency: Saturated 1100ppm 5 days ago…
Grower comments: Following AutoPot’s method of saturating medium when repotting for 7-12 days. When medium is almost dry, roots will be established to the bottom and ready to activate bottom feeding from Reservoir. 1100ppm seems strong but spot on per chart with CO2 and DLI at 37. Started LST a few days ago on all 3. These plants are doing great despite my shortcomings with new to me nutrient line( I plan to switch nutrients again when I begin bottom feeding). :face_with_monocle:
