No I donât know why itâs brown. The lc is fluffy and white but the multiplier I bought always was a brown

Hydrated and sterilized 10 jars of popcorn in the pressure cooker. They have sat for about a week. Iâll be inoculating tomorrow.

Eight days in fruiting and am starting to see pins develop. No pics. I donât want to open the tent and risk contamination. Iâll get pics when the 1st flush is done.

Itâs been 13 days in fruiting and no pins yet. Humidity is fine at ~85 to 90%. Strain is golden teacher. Do they take longer to pin? @SeaOhAreWhy

Stuck pins usually means too much CO2 is building up in the fruiting chamber. Some will take longer but ensure you are getting good air exchange.

Holy shit guys. 7days after inoculation. No signs of contamination yet.
looking good so far. All 10 jars look like this. Money wel spent on a flow hood. It wasnât even that expensive either. Spend a little now a save on contamination expenses with less chance of contamination. Also did it in my grow tent. Shit Iâm excited.

For all the experience out there. Whatâs my next step. @MidwestGuy I do like your style of mixing and covering with parchment to re colonize. In my question is. Whatâs my substrate? Spend money on a boomerbag or do the coco bricks. Do the weight an mix accordingly?

After pressure cooking popcorn one of the batches had an alarm go off and I wasnât sure if it fully sterilized. I did not inoculate these first round of jars bc I wasnât sure if they went through the entire cycle. Iâve held onto the jars. Itâs been two weeks and one jar has been contaminated. My question is would the other jars that do not have signs of contamination be ok to inoculate?

Ended up tossing all of them and found out that that particular one was missing the silicone ring for the lid. They were prolly fine but donât want to risk it. Time to make some agar and lc shortly. Do you guys break and shake your colonizing popcorn spawn? I just did a break and shake on all my jars.

Despite 2 cakes being fully colonized and setting up the fruiting environment exactly how I have in the past, I got zero shrooms from the 1st flush and 3 aborts from the 2nd flush.
Mushrooms dot com now sells only culinary mushroom spores now. Anyone have a reliable vendor that sells B+?

I shut down temp and humidity in the martha tent to let the cakes dry out for disposal. Go back in 3 days later, and surprise, there are a handful of shrooms to harvest.
They are Golden Teacher.

Made agar. New spore syringe. Put two drops in the agar cups. Wanting to see what yours looks like. Anyone have a pic of their agar cups after say 5 days of darkness an 76*f.
