Those look amazing!
It looks like the heavy blue is causing extremely tight internode spacing… you may want to bring in some warm white?
Thanks @Cannabian !
My pleasure! They look super happy!
In preflowering and flowering I’ll be going the exact opposite, heavy red and low blue light so my stretch will really be a stretch. After training I am considering upping the red during veg just as you suggested.
Thanks for the info. Outdoors I’m definitely headed the no till route with cover crops to enhance and keep the microbes happy. Indoors I want to see what happens this grow with recycled soil and almost 50% of my medium coming from my actively maintained high quality input compost. During my last outdoor grow I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of a need to supply amendments to keep the plants happy. My thoughts are the compost must really be bringing a good amount of beneficial microbes. That also supports the idea of no till grows! Well, I hoarded way too many seeds so no better way to find out than to experiment , no
Happy growing my friend!
Goodafter noon. Checking out the garden today. Stopping by to say hello. Your plant are looking great friend.

Absolutely! Here is an issue I have in my area with no till… the native soils here are either old river run rocks or clay, or a mix of both. So before I can " no till " I have to till. Then I have to mix organic material, manure and coarse sand, otherwise the soil compacts terribly hard with watering or trampling.
That’s lama poop !
@Cannanaut hello friend.
Your No-till comment got me to a thinking.
I have grown huge no till gardens in the past. They work well for me. I wished i had a photo to show ya. During that time i was so poor i didnt even have a cell phone. I learned how to work with mother nature, i did.
My no-till was a vegetable garden. All i did was got carboard boxes from the DG. Then laid them all overr the garden, covered. Then i took hay and placed it about 10 inches on top of the cardboard. I do this set for a couple of months during winter.
When it was time to plant i dug a hole in the rotton smashed down hay and cardboard and place my seed or plant in.
If i lift up that carboard, underneath was moisture, it was hot and dry where I live so this was important to me. And the worm bed under that cardboard left me little need to fertilize. Very mice to work with mother nature like that.
I had 300 tomatoes plants that year. I suppled the whole neighborhood with free tomatoes.
That sounds interesting and I would have loved to have been a neighbor to grab some fresh homegrown tomatoes! The whole no-till approach makes sense in optimizing natural conditions to make life as easy and highly productive if done right. I conducted an inspection for my job of the ag fields of Limoneira back in the day ( https://www.limoneira.com/)
huge agriculture producer and I saw compost piles and basic no-till practices in all the areas where there production trees were located. i don’t think a company with their resources do things that aren’t productive.
Have a good day my friend!
Thank you @kw_Bat ! I’m kind of nervous because today or tomorrow I’m going to start my quadline and it’s always nerve racking to cut up a plant. I never had an issue but still ![]()
I hope your day is a good one!
Wait hold up, that’s a weed stalk? I salute you ![]()
Very nice my friend!
Very true but fat stalks and fat roots usually results in fat buds from what I seen. Personally I haven’t seen a grower who can get stalks that fat not come through with the buds to match! That’s a pretty bud ![]()
Quadline under way with the major topping and cutting done. Red spectrum bumped up a bit and a bit of liquid kelp meal to help recovery. Let’s see how she recovers. Have a good evening all!
@Cannanaut Goodmorning friend.
Dem plants can take allot. Crop the city out of them
Cheers!
They are looking good so far
.
I think this is what all gardeners are trying to accomplish. Mimicking each plants optimal conditions.
Here where we live i know personally corn farmers in which only use notill. I think they use chemicals to kill off, then s
Plant and then slray to keep weeded. Process works for the commercial guys.
Thank you my friend! I’m going to crop/torture her like @kaptain3d would ![]()
Have a good day!
