Potheads and pets... Let's see your creatures

My wife and I adopted Gibby ten years ago from a rescue organization. He’s lived the life of Riley ever since.

My girl Gem is about halfway through her pregnancy, this is her with her stud William. I can’t wait to meet the puppies! It’s the first time we’ve had a girl dog and made puppies. It was the first time for both of these two, almost 3yr old, jack russell’s. My friends dog is a show dog, with pedigree papers. My girl is our family dog, no papers, we bought her from a local farmer. Now she’s carrying international champion show dog dna puppies. Because Williams’s daddy is Brotherhood of Jacks dog Silly Billy. William hasn’t done any shows yet, his Mum Shelly does, here in NZ she’s won best in breed. Her family line is pretty cool too. There’s a website that has Silly Billy’s entire family tree that goes back to early 1900’s. Our puppies have a better paternal family tree than we do :joy:. But they can never be show dogs because our girl is not a papered pedigree. They are just cool :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Its like knowing you’re royalty but just live like the people. Our Shar-Pei was the same.

A really cute match lol, they really seemed to like each other too, I don’t feel so bad about the arranged mating :joy:

I did feel bad when she dragged William by his Willy on the first mating. Dogs anatomy & procreation yikes
