No too shabby considering the environment your fighting. Looks good bro. Maybe not as sticky nor dense but damn decent smoke (hopefully)
Thank you.
If I hadn’t toped the Girl Scout I’m curious just what she would have been.
I usually plant photos in the ground I may rethink that in the future.
We had a major storm last night. dropped about a quarter inch that’s better than nothing.
Autocorrection got me on the last paragraph. That’s federalize. But what’s been going on as with that is best not talked about here. Fertilizer on an industrial scale is getting very expensive or impossible to get. First they blamed it on the shutdown then Russia. (Okay which is it?) But I am less than 6 miles from a 10 in ammonia line that is used for fertilizer. (Carries ammonia from Texas and Louisiana too the cornfields north.) It’s a big enough deal we get our danger zone safety letters every year. It’s nasty stuff!
Here’s the thing they actually shut it down in September or November of 2019:thinking:. But why? What would that lead too?Au:balance_scale:
I think smaller more colas work better in hogh heat or humidity then single huge ones. May have been a blessing in disguise
Be real careful when you smoke any of those. I bet they’ll be more potent than you think. They tend to stay small and throw trichomes all over as a defense mechanism in extreme temps. Drought helps keep them even smaller. Imagine cramming 4 ounces of 20% THC into 2 ounces of plant. You may end up in the high 20s or low 30s in potency because of it.
They look nice to me too !! @Ozark
Ok Smoke update,
The last 3 oz. I put in jars smells like horse manure mixed with hay!..I have burped 1xday x 3 weeksish. humidity was 58-60. So I dumped into grove bags to hopefully save it. The other stuff in groves smells, Meh…a little fuel minimal pine/lemon but not horse hay at least!! He Haw!!
Also the buzz is very mellow but clear headed…(left her way to long before chop maybe) But the speedyness has definitely backed off… so that’s good for me. Need to smoke a half a doob to feel good… and again at 5:20 pm etc./…
Any thoughts anyone??
Maybe I’m already used to it?
@PurpNGold74 @Graysin
The longer it cures, the better it gets. If it was not fully mature when you harvested, then you just have to wait for the trichomes to continue to degrade as it cures longer. It won’t ever bring potency back into the equation, but the racy high will ebb and the smoke will be smoother.
Thanks for the warning in the info. A couple weeks ago when they were still mostly clear I snipped a small bud off Miss Banner. After I hit it not expecting much. Turned out it was sort of creeper. So hopefully you’re spot on.
Even in Northern Arizona I’ve never grown in temperatures this hot so you were reading my mind. I was thinking this whole time it’s been degrading while I’ve been waiting. So…
In hindsight you’re right. She also likely Bud rotted because of being wet. One big one likely would have happened sooner as well.
Yeah , never really saw any amber , just mostly cloudy. @PurpNGold74 , I think way back mentioned that may just be the way it was bred. I know she was def. a long ride, and they looked almost dead when chopped!LOL! It has def. gotten smoother over last 1-2 weeks for sure , it’s that horse hay last 3 oz in jars, I’m most concerned with though.
Same thing applies. As it dries and cures, the stink will go away. It may never really smell amazing, but it should simmer down on the barn smell.
TY for the positivity!
I should of just stuck all of it in the grove bags.
I prob. should have burped them 2-3 times daily!
Hope it all straightens out.
Let ya know for sure.
Prob. the Organics I added in the end…LOL!
The Girl Scout had a grassy musty smell. Likely I missed a bud or more with mold. when I come across it I will pitch it.
Now although it doesn’t have much of any smell anymore, and I like stink, at least it doesn’t smell like I’m going to die if I hit some.lol
Before these three I had grown a gorilla glue in a grow box. Started her the end of January. It’s not that she was cold but she could have been warmer as we were dealing with temperatures below zero at times. It had been a while since I had medicine so… even her leaves early on were kicking my butt.lol (At 2 weeks old her leaves were covered with trichomes). Of course as time went on my old deadhead came back. Wasn’t doing as much. Now that I can alternate with the Girl Scout she’s better again.
Wow just gave them a manicure. I’ve had stickier but I still scraped a pea-sized ball of resin off the friskers. Well since it’s readily smokable I took a hit. damn haven’t felt like this in a long time. And had a taste reminiscent of hash from the past.lol No more pains! I was going to finish cutting them up,I I can’t seem to get up.
okay this is 13 and 1/2 oz of the gg4 sitting on the plates. Acceptable considering. And it may be more. Hadn’t seen water for three days and when squeezing them don’t think it will take long.
I can’t smoke and trim for this very reason. I have to really psych myself up to trim in the first place, definitely won’t have the attention span if I was high too
hear that. I just finished the other one. Which is actually the Gorilla Glue. The first one was Bruce Banner. Seems I can’t get it straight even when I’m straight. Lol
So the Gorilla Glue is actually 12.9 Oz. And she’s definitely where all the stick came from. As the Fiskars were once again caked. That treat will have to wait as I have a oil change and hydraulic swing cylinder to rebuild on the backhoe. keeping all the O-rings and seals (17) in the proper order requires concentration.
Nice salads. I will take one with Balsamic Vinegarette and some croutons please.
Sounds like not my cup of tea.
What Gray said. I’d rather watch a really bad movie.
