Iām going to try this my next grow I started my autos in ffof lol before I learned how hot it was but I guess I got lucky Iāve had no issues but I want to make sure I donāt have to stress it next grow
I get a coffee cup about 1/2 full of water, and drop my seeds in it. 24hrs later, I dump them out on a paper towel, water and seeds. Then fold the paper towel over them and place in a ziplock baggie, and in the drawer for a couple of days. When the tap roots start coming out, I put them in rock wool inside a humidity dome. I leave them there, under 24hr light for 7days after they sprout. Then I place them in my HYDRO system.
Whoa whoa, I got told to use Foxfarm on my plants, for the next grow I do, why are we saying itās hot and what exactly does that mean, Does that mean I should not use Foxfarm I also do my stuff outside. Little bit of insight on this would be cool like I know you guys always do thank you!
I started my autos in ffof 5g fabric pots I had no issues but next grow Iām going to dig out the center of my ffof soil and fill the middle with happy frog seedling soil and let the seedling veg into the FF soil just to be safe

For seed starting, try soaking them in a small cup of ro water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Put in a warm, dark place for about 24 hrs.

Then, go ahead and pop the seeds into moistened rapid rooters, paper towels, or seed starter mix. Cover and keep in a warm, dark place for another 24 hrs.

After 24hrs, if you used paper towels, go ahead and pop the seeds into rooters/starter mix. Cover everything with a dome, then place under lights and keep warm. Your goal is to keep the rh high, but the medium just damp enough; you might need to add 1 tbsp of ro water each day. Do not over water. Do not over water. Do not overwater. After a few days, you should have fully germinated seeds.
Happy Frog is warm. 
Not as hot as Ocean Forest.
Really, all you need is what I showed above to get them going. There is no fertilizer in straight Promix. Once the seedlings are pushing out the second set of true leaves ( normally 3 fingered ) they are ready to be placed in a 3" pot or directly into a 3 gallon or whatever ya got! What many folks do is put straight FFOF on the bottom half of the pot, then fill the other half with FFOF mixed 50/50 with peat or Sunshine mix or Promix. This way your tender roots dont get burned and the plant can grow into the hotter mix. Then when you pot up to the next size you use straight FFOF again, that way they get a new source of food. By the time you flower most of those nutrients will be used up and you will start to supply finishing nutrients of your choice. Finally, you will stop all nutrients for the last push, just straight water for a week or so. Then itās off with their heads!
Also, this method works for super soil blends too! They are typically too nutrient rich for young root systems.

Omg thatās exactly what it was. I took all my seeds out if the soil I had them in. I flushed the soil like u said. Put the seeds back in the exact same dirt and left over night. I seen pretty little tails on most of them. Man u saved my life. Thank u so very much!!
Ok I have 1 more question. Also real quick I donāt like how they limit my " replys" to any of u per daily basis.i think I got 5 yesterday and then it said I couldnāt reply anymore for 24 hrs. Crazy!!anyway I been shopping. When on the fertilizer. I see alot of different kinds of course but some brands will say part A or part B. Obviously itās 2 parts there so is that like for veg. And then flower stage?? Not doing any of it Iām just asking for future reference. On my seeds. I got some jiffy mix. A bag of it. Iām using that for seeds then to fox farm happy frog and over to ocean forest. So on that setup what I shouldnāt have to fertilize any of it for how long are yāall saying?? 2 to 3 weeks?? I ordered mr. Bergman fertilizer. It has a seed mix ?? Should I not use?? I been doing all autos trying to learn and thatās what I have growing. Iām switching to fem next. Gold leaf. Well I actually think a few survived the dirty puks I had and may be coming up now. I really appreciate all ur help and advice. I have read each one of ur messages and I really got alot of great things out of all of them. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated and used. Once again Iām in a 4 ft. By 2 ft setup. I have 2 Mars hydro epistar 120 in the tent. I have a white widow auto under 1 light with the flower light on. The other just the grow light which has a girl scout cookies extreme that is about a week old. And another white widow that I stunted the growth on by separating it from itās tap root. Oh and on that. Will my grow time still be 8 wks approximately?? How will that work?? It looks as tho itās on maybe week 2 possibly 3 of growing. Itās actually about 5 weeks. Will it bud at same time being I had it separated like that?? My temp stays around 78-84 degree farhenheit during day with lights on. I do 18 on 6 off. At night my temp goes to about 68-72 degree . My humidity it pretty stable at about 40-45 unless I mist inside the tent. Which I do alot along with wet rags to try to get my humidity up to around 55- 65 as I have read and what I believe to be right for stage Iām at. Now I read at end stage of life that I would want the 40-45 RH. That it produce bigger buds. Is that true?? Iām trying my best to learn all this. Thanks for any help in advance. Fertilizer, yes typically A would be veg stage and B would be flower stage. The need different nutrients in each stage.
Soil, I donāt use FF but with that mix you should be good for up to 6-weeks. Your plants will let you know when they need more. You have enough food in soil donāt add anymore with the seedlings.
Growth time, it is hard to tell with the stunted one. Is it an auto? When I grow my autos they take 100-120 days. Iāve seen good growers with the right strain do it in 75-days. Photo period plants, once the buds start, the clock starts ticking. So if a seed is suppose to be harvest in 75-days that is when the days start being counted.
End stage humidity is dropped to help eliminate bud rot. Buds will hold a lot of moisture and too much will cause mold in the buds. When that happens buds are no good.
For fertilizers i have the dirty dozen pack with the bloom boosters open sesame, beastie blooms and cha ching,
I use this at half strength and most of the time i make or use my own nutrients itās 20 times cheaper than bottle nutrients and Iām getting more potent end product. I did fox farm ocean forest a couple times itās cool till flower then all hell breaks loose and donāt know what the plant is short on and getting nute burn at 1/4 strength
I Use pro mix soil vegetable and herb mix it cheap and works no nute burn just add some pig manure and azomite and good to go i was at 320 to 380 grams a plant of wet trimmed bud weight in fox farm ocean Forrest soil with the pro mix vegetable and herb mix and manure i average 550 grams wet bud trimmed weight a plant i got 589 grams on the critical bilbo i want to break 600 grams im in 5gal air pots I donāt want to Jack your thread here but buying powder nutrients is the best way to go itās the same thing i use on my farm why pay for 95% water if your interested in the powders and nutrients let me know or talk on my thread 6 strains of fun on here
