looks like a viparspectra 700w
Watt for watt the photo boost strips much better option. How big of space are you flowering in?
Duh, guess I missed that lol.
Follow reference design, you will likely blow anything youāve done with vipar light out of the water.
@dbrn32 Thank you.
Wow, I just went to Plc and the strips are out of stock already. lol
Get on the list. I think they sell out quickly.
Ya, they were sold out in 2-3 days. Like suggested, get on list and wait them out. Samsungās strip is Similar, should be available soon too.
Yes, I signed up to be notified. I think iāll just buy everything else while im waiting.
I would maybe sit tight honestly. If it ends up they dont come in stock reasonably, you may be stuck with other items
I canāt argue with that logic.
I bought the strips first. When they actually ship, Iāll order the rest. Itāll take me a couple weeks to budget the rest of the build anyway.
I was orgininally budgeting for a fluence light, but the devil swayed me.
Damn that guy lol.
Somehow he always gets me to upgrade my lighting.
If it werenāt for him, Iād be happily growing light larfy buds under amazon blurples.
Sounded like you were shopping anyway, which means I canāt take all of it.
Ordering heatsink when you can would probably be safe bet. Thereās half dozen other pretty solid applications for that. I would wait til strips are in hand for drivers though
Iām assuming plc will come through. But yeah, Iām not really ordering the rest until I get shipping notices.
I suppose I could order the heat sinks, and possibly use them, if I get screwed.
The hardest part of cannabis cultivation, in all aspects, is the waiting.
Wait is what broke the wagon lol
Fact is they will be shipping at some point iām assuming. I like the build a lot. I donāt think iāll worry about the cost of the boards when they come available.
Iām sure youāre right. I just meant from standpoint of being committed to that particular build. Thereās half dozen other strips you could use to replicate a build like that, but the voltage and current all vary. So if you got tired of waiting, doing a similar light with different strip could require a different driver and heatsink
I understand. Good point. Thank you. Your lighting knowledge is impeccable. Iāll hold off.
