@BunnyD, I used this method with my wet buds. It is trial and error for sure but those buds can’t be smoked anyway. The straightener I used had wide heat plates and had a dial heat controller. I set it at about #3 (honestly don’t know temp but using a steak thermometer, we figured it was abour 220-230°. Being it was wet bud, the process also left water from heat and pressure. We simply put the parchment paper under heat again for a few then into fridge or freezer.

We used a metal drink swizzler to collect. You will see the shiny spots on the parchment paper, simply roll to collect.

I plan to collect enough to make vape juice with this and VG (vegetable glycerin). If interested, I can share YouTube link.

I have an entire plant I will be pressing using the flat iron and a vice. The plant auto plant revegged and probably wont smoke worth a damn. Why waste it when I can vape it!!

Test run-
.5g White Widow Auto recently harvested early because of bud rot.

Sitting in freezer, just chillin for easier collection. I messed up and broke puck, resulting in plant matter in resin. I was able to pull the biggest pieces away.

So thought I would be able to get ONE plant to completion but NOPE, bud rot strikes again.

I am about to swear off growing from March-Sept unless they are photo period plants.

damnit, I feel you. Its crushing to see that rot.

Yes, all 3 plants so far have been shit weed, I know you are supposed to cure for at least 3 weeks but damn, I’ve tasted better nugs straight off the plant and smoked while green and wet.

This year so far has really killed my desire to continue growing :flushed::cry:

My wife just told me I obsess over my plants :scream::astonished::astonished::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Mine too:joy::joy::joy:

God love her, she is now searching. “Low cost sheds” so I can grow my autos indoors.

Don’t know if you’ve seen this or not bit yea, my WWA definitely foxtails. Last year it was little tiny spires, this year it exploded everywhere.

Great video about foxtailing

So, do you recommend I cut out bud rot and let her finish?

I haven’t dealt with bud rot. I ended up pulling my outside plant back inside because I knew she would rot in 80% humidity. This is the foxtail I see on yours. This is what I got on mine close to the end.

Yup, question is how long do I let her go if I cut out bud rot and wash with H2O2? Apparently the WW is proned to foxtailing and some people consider it good, adds weight others say it creates airy fluffy buds.

Know my conditions suck for growing outdoors, for autos at least, my LSD Fem is loving the weather.

Yeah, there’s good and bad foxtail. If they foxtail early, airy buds. If they foxtail late, more weight.
